  1. very nice! red rim tape doesn't pull it of for me though.
  2. then it would be true to the bike and not properly true, any ho got it to perfection now and cant wait to ride.
  3. thanks alot! just built my wheel for the first time and was easier than expected and didn't take long at all to lace it. but it is reasonable straight but how do i true it without it beening on the bike or on then truing things?
  4. yeah i like trialtech but a little thick for my liking.
  5. isis as they allow better power transfer etc.
  6. ah that idea is out the window then! cheers it will have to be three cross then, i thought there would be a catch lol. may try that on the front one day as it looks super cool.
  7. hi all, well will be building my wheel up in the week and was wondering what pattern to go for on a 32 hole, the 3 cross one? i like the pattern of this wheel below and looks very simple well basically will lacing it like that make it any weaker? is there any draw backs from doing that pattern? will this pattern be possible with a 32 hole hub and rim? oh and its for a rear. http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=157273 cheers guys
  8. u have hit the jackpot! there might probely be a lot more up the path?
  9. ah cool may consider it, it finishes the bike off nicely like that.
  10. one question (not that relevant) but will the paint on the rear wheel come off and effect the braking? i was looking into a coloured side wall rim but wasnt sure on that factor.
  11. magura hs33 (often called maggies) or hs11 there are loads of hydrolic brakes but thats the cheapest and most commonly used in trials as there good, there on tartybikes abit pricey but well worth it......there always secondhand.
  12. yes you can get a hydrolic rim brake on the brack with a evo adaptor, no you cant get any thicker rims on the back as it is a 20" and is like the only one like that. if i had a rip i wouldnt spend to much on it and keep it for the basics then upgrade to a better bike with more interchangeable parts
  13. possibly be becasue they are offset brakeclamps, is there any need for them? or if it catches now and then you could try a 128mm bottom bracket to get you a few mm.
  14. that riding is weird! i like it, but i recon its mainly bmx though with a few pedal kicks.
  15. yeah they do, http://www.rocknrollbikes.com/trials/complete/onza-comp-grey-trials-bike-20.html and http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NEW-2010-Onza-COMP-Trials-Jump-Tricks-Bike-RRP-690-/160424713592?pt=UK_Bikes_GL&hash=item255a0edd78 ah just saw your edit......scratch that.
  16. i think rock and roll bikes have got some. EDIT also on ebay.
  17. yep of-cause everything will fit, i thought it meant like parts from other bikes for gradually upgrading it. (so tired these days lol)
  18. not much pads material though.
  19. sshhhhussshhh u!!! haha no tarty told me that that is the biggest width rim i can fit on the back so....... and the brake cylinders are all the way out and sets the brake up nicely.
