  1. so u striped your tread? try a chisel or something like that, wedge it between the cranks and bb and hit with a hammer, if that doesnt work try blow torching it and then do it.(might ruin the look of the crank) i had the same problem and it took friken ages and a lot of hard work.
  2. do cone spanners let you adjust the cones when they are on your bike?

should do yeah, i use to use a 15mm spanner to tighten them while they were on my bike, make sure you loosen the locknut before tightening the cones and tighten the locknut afterwards ;)

  3. cheers guys got it a bit better, but i think the stupid hub bearing have gone, tightened the cones yesterday so it wasn't wobbly and have only doing small things today, and hear bearing crunch, so it stands to reason that its that as it wobbles today. as for the spokes i will check next time i take the wheel of. the last time i buy crappy opened bearing hubs. how do i know if the axel has broke? using chain tugs for the tensioning.
  4. looks good, whats with the odd grips? is that your chain slapping on your frame on the vid?
  5. hi there, right when riding today my pad rubs on one spot of the rim, i might have a little buckle but cant feel anything. the hub is nice and tight but i can wobble the whole rear wheel i think its becasue of a very flexxy frame (i can see it wobble badly), sometimes when i finish a little ride the wheel is far to the left causing it to rub, and other times it goes to the right and also rubs on the pads, have i got a dodgie hub? even know i cant feel it wobble as i have just tightened the hub cones. i have just realised this the day after my highest drop. any suggestion on how i can fix the pad rubs? im going to move my brake pads to see if it makes the slightest bit of difference, cheers

I'm not but locally there's a dump place with some sleepers and some pallets. I always think about asking if we could get permission to ride there but never actually do it :p

  17. +1 but it depense what you want. even if tartybikes is a bit more it is so much worth it with the quick service etc, try rock n roll bikes and selectbikes.
  18. off cause it wont work with a hole in the hosing as the oil escapes.
