aahh thats what i mean not just soap on its own

when i used soap on the rim it make the brake slip so i gave it a good wash with warm water, that made it a little better.

ah going well so far, ali does have a point though. will look at this thread when i need new parts etc if it goes well.

just had a brain wave to create a bad parts thread, what do you think? bought anything and is so bad or broken easily say here and say why, to advise other riders not to use/buy them. right lets start with a simple one, magura black pads due to not having good stopping power. sorry if this is a bad idea or its been done already.

is it a smooth surface rim? if so there is a lot of fuss on how good heatsinks yellows are but maybe a bit expensive if your on a budget, onza citrus are not bad and cheap for brake pads.
