  11. hi all, when out riding today and my headset went really dodgie, the forks and stem move forward and back when jiggled. i dont think its the cups inserted its the bearings inside that you can see moving inside the cups hence the forks and stem wobbleing, its tightened as far as it will go. any ideas how to fix this? or has it gave its ghost? cheers

  15. what i did was get a long screw driver and a hammer, put the screw driver on the headset cups them give it a snack with the hammer worked a treat, but a small chance of damaging it or you can buy one of these instead, http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?product_id=627&category_id=31 EDIT beaten to it
  16. ive had both and i find there is not much difference
  17. get a 4 bolt vee brake adaptor on it, they sell some on tartybikes
  18. your bleed is dodgie then because of air inside. also make sure the pads are close to the rim.
  19. you could try adjusting the tpa on the lever it could be lazy cylinder pistons, see if they are responsive if not take them out and lube them. the bleed may of got some air in causing it to be weak, when bled was the tpa all the way out? check your tubing on the brake and al the seals to make sure no oil is leaking out.
  20. how comes you want to change your pads? are they not working for u?
