  1. April 2019 Update: I bought some Speedrace carbon forks last week from the infamous Team Toast Matt @ItsMatt (cheers pal ). Had a good ride with them today, they feel and look great. Weight came in at 564g, quite a big saving over the Bonz forks (828g). Here's some pics:
  2. Met a rather nice photographer down at my local riding spot this afternoon who got a couple shots of me trying to look stunty and rad:
  3. I still enjoy riding my Echo 24, got some carbon forks on the way from Toast Matt which should spruce it up a little. I often think about going to 26 but the Echo is still loads of fun so I'm sticking with that for now.
  4. That was a good watch! Great riding and well filmed
  5. Hey guys, After a break from trials of more than 4 years I decided a few months back to get back into riding. Back in 2013 I purchased an Echo Trial 24 frame from Duncan Shaw. Needless to say the frame was in need of some love back then!: The bike remained in this state and wasn't ridden until October last year where I slowly began a bit of a restoration to bring things more inline with the modern bikes. I was keen to tidy up the look of the bike up somewhat and so set about respraying the frame in Matt Black (Charlies Stores special!) and purchased a number of new bits such as tyres, wheels, bars, stem, brakes, cranks, freewheel and more. This weekend I finally got round to the finishing touches and I am really happy with the result, the bike now looks and rides like it means business. Hard to believe the difference compared to when I first got it back in 2013! The only thing left to do will be to shorten the rear brake hose, but that hasn't bothered me too much in the few months I've been using it. The total weight of the bike comes in a shade over 7.9kg, which I'm really pleased with. I'm now looking forward to warmer weather and longer days to get more practice and learning in. I'll list a rough spec below the photos for those interested. 6. Hi peeps. I have recently created a Facebook page for my photography, check it out and hit like! Click the lamb to go there now Cheers!
  7. Don't worry we aren't laughing at the mudguards. We are laughing at the fact its a 29er
  8. Went for a walk in my local woods today to shoot some wildlife (not literally :wink2: ), couldn't help myself but switch to my wide lens to get a shot of the reflections and colours here
  9. Might wanna consider the fact that the 400D doesn't do video, so that might not be a good choice
  10. Loved reading your blog post Mike D, very interesting! Love the lighting, processing and facial expression of your cat photo Max, looks like it is thinking very deeply Some snaps I got over the weekend:

  12. Sure does! Its no surprise to me that the frame won trail bike of the year 2012, climbs well but smashes decents. Me riding it for anyone interested:
  13. Had this since November, hadn't bothered to post it in here until now. Its my first full sus after riding hard tail for a fair few years. Really pleased with how it looks and rides.
  14. Cheers eh Boyz Heres a fun little vid of all the failed clips:
  15. Oh sorry, by that I just meant that your computer may not be able to play the footage very well, rather than the recording being the problem if that makes sense?
  16. Yeah its most likely just a playback issue since you cant really get the frame rate wrong (unless you shot the clips in 4k @ 15fps).
  17. Ah thats fair enough, its still a great video
  18. Some of you may have seen this on Facebook already. Filmed this over the weekend with a mate, had a right laugh making it The idea for the ending came to me sporadicly but I think it worked out really well Glad to finally have a MTB video of myself riding
  19. Talk about over use of camera movements! Every single shot was either with a jib or slider! Nice riding though
