  1. Thanks for the comments again guys! I have made a small video today, however it is definitely not something to get your hopes up over, I will hopefully go out and start filming a real video at the weekend/next week Anyways, here it is: http://www.vimeo.com/55553414 Edit: This is all I could ride today, since everywhere was completely frozen, and I couldn'y go anywhere as I only had the morning off sixth form!
  2. Yeah, I thought the same but forgot to mention it earlier Looks like 3:2
  3. Ahh, okay. I was just wondering as I have been asked to film some BMX edits, and just wondered which technique you had used to follow the skater Still, cool edit
  4. Explain to us, how did 'rear wheel hops and noob's pedal kicks' cause your forks to snap, even though they are completely off the ground when doing both of those moves?
  5. Cool video man, congrats! How did you film alongside the skater when he is moving? Bike, skateboard, steady cam, bare hands?
  6. You have said you are getting a "Custom" bike, and yet that Because frame can be bought from Tarty I personally would go for dual Maguras over the dual cable brakes, but if you plan on upgrading to Hopes or similar then fair enough.
  7. Thanks! I have done some sidehops and gaps to front on it this week, and I can tell you, it feels amazing! Every move I have tried so far has been much easier than on my old Comp frame. Can't wait to get a riding video out with it
  8. Oh okay, I get you now I think just a permanent sub-section in the videos section would just be better, but I don't think that once the comps are done that the topics should be merged back into the main videos section, instead I think they should just be left in the competition section, and then have 'closed' in the title when they are finished
  9. It was the opposite case in my experience. I used to ride with my brakes pointed right down and didn't experience too much trouble, but moved them up to try something different and that started to give me terrible arm pains/pump, so I moved them down a bit again and surely enough this stopped the pain Try moving your levers around William and you may find the same thing
  10. You know! Next new purchase will be a super light Monty rear tyre
  11. Updated with rawed cranks and pedals
  12. Agreed. I think a new sub-forum dedicated to video competitions would be a good idea
  13. Haha I was absolutely convinced he was riding a quarry in Spain until I read the description of the video
  14. Another quality bit of riding from Andrei there. Hard to believe that the video was actually shot in the U.K, I don't think I have ever seen such a rich sky Or maybe he used a polariser... Regardless, very very high quality riding!
  15. Haha, glad it's fixed mate! I had the same issue when building up the Bionic, axle bolts kept bottoming out All fixed now though (Including the freewheel)
  16. Weird. It seems to be very hit and miss on my end. Sometimes the site loads fine and replies on take 5 seconds max, other times it is unbearable, and can take minutes just to load the homepage A little bit annoying considering it is the site I use the most
  17. Must be decent then if you are getting back to how you used to be already Does the rear have a grind on it or not? Can't tell from the photo.
  18. Wow, much longer than I had expected. How does it ride?
  19. Any more ideas on what could be causing the slowness Tom? I am still experiencing very slow loading/replying speeds
  20. That looks pretty big! Any ideas on the height?
  21. I have some Nukeproof pads in my Saints (Think they are sintered), and they a notable improvement over the regular pads that came with the brakes
  22. Ahh okay, so the remote has a higher bb and from what I am reading on Google, a shorter overall length? Should be pretty good for natural stuff
