  1. Thanks very much mate, It is a great frame and I wish it wasn't raining over here so I could actually ride it Filming and photography seems to be who I am really Bars are Easton Monkeylites, which are meant to be for XC. They arent very good for trials really
  2. Cheers dude! I very very rarely hit the freewheel on objects, so I can't see a need to buy a bashring really I won't be putting a bash plate on it though As far as my camera, I use a Canon 60D for both the videos and photos I make, and the lenses used in this video were the Canon 50 1.8 and Canon 17-85 Thanks again! Damn it! I always used to do that when taking photos of my bikes, but figured no-one would actually care/notice, so didn't do it in those ones Thanks Dan, although I am hoping to get some wider bars such as the Try-All Elite 2012, as the Monkey Bars are only 685mm
  3. Hi all, Having ridden an Onza Comp frame for the past couple of years, a few weeks ago I decided that a new frame was in order. Jake Deakin (JMCD on here) had this frame lying around, and as soon as he sent me a photo of it and told me the geo, I knew I wanted it For anyone interested, the geo is 1000wb, 350cs and +90bb, weighing in at 1.3kg. I will go out to film a good riding video with it if the weather gets any better, but that's unlikely http://www.vimeo.com/54308430 I didn't put much effort into the photos, as I focused more on the quick video I made. Let me know what you think of it Lewis ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 30/11/12 Update: Recieved some new Trialtech High Rise bars from Tartybikes yesterday (thanks very much guys), so thought it would make sense to show you guys some more photos with them on the bike ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 12/12/12 Update: Now with rawed cranks and pedals
  4. Good find that one Laurence Hoffman's moves to front wheel always look so bizarre, I have never seen anyone get into the position he does I saw him do an up to front like that in one of the videos of the Cologne trial jam and thought he was just messing around, but he obviously wasn't
  5. lol. Well done for releasing part of the newsletter to everyone, allowing those who didnt sign up to get in on the deal
  6. Anyone interested in buying my Inspired Fourplay? PM me if so...

  7. Another waterfall shot, this time taken in extremely low light. I could barely even see the damn waterfall with my own eyes, and made a complete guess as far as the composition, by reviewing the images and moving the tripod to what I thought was right. Settings used were 30", f4 at ISO 1600! I really wanted to be working at around f11 and no more than ISO 800, but since I didn't have a remote shutter release, I didn't want to keep my finger down on the shutter button for 5 or more minutes in bulb
  8. Update: My dad went down to the local bike shop early this morning without me knowing, and found these: Problem temporarily solved!
  9. Sorry to hear your Because snapped dude! As far as wheelbases, the longer you go, the more leverage you have for moves like gaps, so you will be able to gap further as a result. Long wheelbases come at the expense of a loss of flickiness. Short wheelbases are obviously easier to move around, but you lose some power and may feel cramped. If you want a streety tgs mod frame but still want to be able to ride some pure trials, I would recommend you look for a frame which is no longer than 1020wb. Depends if you can deal with the sluggishness of a long wb
  10. This is what I was looking for, in stock too! http://www.trial-bikes.com/tryall-rear-axle-p-536628.html
  11. That was going to be my next question The Rockman axle appeared to be what I needed, but apparently it is not compatible with the Try-All hubs I have taken mine out just now:
  12. Haha, the back wheel doesnt have an axle in it now, so I cant even put it in the frame to take some photos sorry
  13. Thanks mate! I think the geo is perfect for me too I have discovered some issues today whilst switching the parts from the Onza onto the Bionic, most notably that my rear axle is snapped, and I have a leaky rear maggie, but that one is fixed now. Just need to get the back wheel sorted and bleed the brake and the new bike is ready to go! Can't wait to ride the thing, It looks absolutely amazing!
  14. Okay, I'll try it again in the light tomorrow. Thanks again dude! Sorry for making such a waste of a topic, I just really wanna get it sorted
  15. Thanks man, seems like a new axle is what I need. Just had a look on Tarty and they are out of stock, and judging by how long it takes K-124 stuff to reach them, I am gonna be unable to ride for a loonng while yet I used both a rubber mallet and hammer actually, but obviously didn't try hard enough when giving it a whack
  16. Hello guys, So after taking all the bits off my old frame to replace them on my new one, I noticed something seemed wrong with my rear hub. The axle moves independently, so only one side moves when I turn it. Surely this isn't right? The axle is also binding a lot, so the wheel no longer runs smoothly I need to take the hub apart to find out exactly what's wrong with it, but can't seem to be able to remove the axle. I have tried giving it a heavy tap with a mallet, but to no avail. Can any of you maybe give me some pointers as far as removing the axle/bearings goes? Any help is greatly appreciated, as I am desperate to ride my new frame Thanks very much!
  17. I suppose we are all similar to the stereotypical female, who spends all day talking about shoes
  18. I thought it looked like an old Viper Great stuff never the less
  19. Yeah, I think mine must be the wire beaded version then, because there is no way my Nevegal weighs 860ish
  20. Sounds about right. I will weigh mine tomorrow for you
  21. Yeah, its a 2012 B5R Mk 5. Geo is 1000wb, 350cs and a super high +90bb like you said It weighs in at just a tad over 1.3kg which is about 200g lighter than my Onza. I cant wait to get it built and ride it
  22. I have a 26x2.5 Nevegal, but I am pretty much 100% sure that it is over 1 kg. Definitely one to avoid if you want to make your bike lighter Jake
  23. Ahh, my bad Dave Which Five Tens are they then? These maybe? http://fiveten.com/ixxocart/products/Guide_Tennie-37-3.html
