I think the dust/ oil seals have gone on my bike as when I compress the fork a streak of oil is left on the stanchion. Im going to replace the dust and oil seals at some point when marzocchi get back to me about sizes for the seals.
Anyway, here's my dilemma. Im wanting to go to Cannock Chase on Monday however I don't want to do this if it means f**king my forks up with mud and grit. So my question is (from looking at the pics below) are the seals f**ked enough to make bad stuff happen in my forks? It's only a very light streak but im not sure what the effects would be.
Before they're compressed:
After they have been compressed:
How do I know whether or not I can upgrade my processor? / How much (roughly) would it be to do?
I've currently got 1.9 dual core celeron and was wanting to bump it up to 2 Ghz+, this is mainly so I can use programs like Sony Vegas a bit more because as it stands it takes ages to render things and is a bit slow in general.
This is my laptop if it makes any difference?
Cheers
Chris
I think your having the same problem I had.
First I filed the tabs off slightly but that still didn't work great so I then used some sticky back foil stuff (I guess duck tape would work) and but that on my crank arms to bulk it out a touch so the crank didn't go on as far.
Also, are the axle lengths the same as on the BB that you had before?
I found this video really useful when learning to hop, the second method was my favourite / easiest for me if that helps? I found the wheelie method difficult
Ok, all seems to be good and tensioned. However, the tug isn't square on the back of the drop out, its ever so slightly bent away from the wheel (towards the axle nut)... is this ok? And also, what kind of tension should I be aiming for?
On the axle nuts? If so (Prepare for technical prowess) the one where you can click it to go either way with the interchangeable heads and im doing it as hard as I can.
