who it this Ashley fella. Is it the bottle monster ashley. Hear he's gonna come out of hiding and up the bar. And some new bottle madness. I wouldn't miss it for nothing.
I haven't been back onto trials that long after a 12 year gap and am slowly getting my bike to a setup that suits me. I'm pretty much there now but it's time for a new tensioner. At the mo I'm using a fixed dmr one and it hasn't took long to realise that it's shocking. Want to move on to a sprung tensioner so wondering which ones are good. Need one that can take a beating because it's on the side I side hop.
Yes I'll be joining the Newbury guys to this one. Only ever been to the airport there but hear it's theres some good riding spots. Bring on the good weather
Cheers mate. Just realised that I claimed 3-4 hours away. That would prop be more correct if I was riding there lol. Hour and a half away. What time are people planning on meeting and where (name of road please).
Not gonna lie I might have to blag a day off and trek down for this. Coming from Reading so i'm going on about 3-4 hours away. I'll let you know closer to the day for def. Got a name of a road I can park. Free and safe please!
Cheers
Dan
I'm happy to come down and join you. Cant do 30th 31rd and 1st as I'm at a wedding but any other time is good as long as I have a bit of notice. Prop be able to get a few guys down with me
As the title states I'm going through the painfull period. Not really complaining as its just cuts and bruises but everytime I go out I end up shedding blood! This phase started a few weeks ago. Reasons behind it being I'm starting to push the bar up now. The most anoying thing is slipping a pedal. Its bad enough mashing a shin but then hitting an already mashed shin is the most anoying part of it. I've even got to the point where I've ordered shin protection which I'm not keen on but fed up with blood on my trainers. Also I have bruises that I have no idea where they've come from and thats not through beering it up.
Well now I've got that off my chest let us know of your injuries and enoying falls.
Keep pushing your riding guys and the bigger the better!
What tar are you using. I tried using some that I picked up from some newly laid road and had the same trouble. Then got some felting tar off a friend that's a roofer. The stuff they use for flat roofs and works a treat. Spin the wheel and softly (I stress softly) push onto the rim. It doesn't need a lot to work. I'd also advise grinding the rims. If your pushing your riding your bike will have dents and scratches all over it so who cares about how it looks.
