That's there way of saying that it doesn't hold a lot of tension :) :) Ah well, I may buy it, not sure yet :P Cheers anyway everyone.

    Mmmmmm......

I just noticed, those strange stickers before the main ECHO sticker, they are not on anyone else's, and arn't on the Echo on tartybikes or echobike.com..... Chris, did you put them on, cos they are just as hard to get off as the main one's are?
  3. I find the stone grinding disk's are the best :P I know you say it will only be for your rims, as I said this, but an angle grinder can come in SO useful for other things, perhaps bodge's, making something, cutting a seattube/steerer down......you never know, so you may wanna spend a little extra on one, and definately some decent disk's. But yeah, if you definately arn't gonna use it for anything but your rims, then get a cheap jobby, they're still safe. But new disk's is a deffo, the disk's that come with most grinders and shit.
  4. If your MSN name is anything to go by, then your getting a Zebdi :S :P

I say read the thread.... I want information about the DMR tensioner, not to be told to get a mech :P

Sorry dude, you were only trying to help, no offence meant :P I wanted to look at this tensioner, because the DMR gave good tension, it just had flaws, like the spring opping away from the arm, etc, and the '2' looks like some of the flaw's had been fixed. They are also lighter and more out of the way, especially considering I sidehop to the left. I seem to be having trouble getting good tension with this Tiagra, I may just invest in an XT or similar, dunno yet :P

^^^ That's my bike, with that modification on it my friend. Nothing ever pisses me off more than people giving alternatives that are quite obvious to the situation, I know a mech is a good idea, god knows I have tried and used them for ages, BUT I wanted to know the situation with the DMR tension seeker 2, not how to do a mech bodge. :ermm:

    Koxx Bloxx

I believe yellow is slightly softer than red, but I have no clue what so ever about green and blue.....if they brought the price's of them down I might be interested..... :ermm:"

    Mmmmmm......

Yes it has a god awful pad bodge on the koxx bloxx. I am gonna get a wider rim very soon, but am still deciding between an Echo or a Ronnie.... Also I have to send my hub off as part of my flange fell apart, so it won't be being built until thats all sorted.

They want to have a look at the frame, so I sent it off today  Don't worry I'll keep you informed in this thread :ermm:
  20. Chris, don't be shit, come ride somewhere down here you got a car! We will be arranging to come ride Reading very soon, so I'll give you a bell when we do  PM me your number, I don't have it anymore.
  21. Well If you really want them red, then Get some RimJam red's. I'm not sure how long they last on a smooth rim though, but I bet they're powerful  If your not too bothered about colour, them I would recommend Heatsink's Batch C blue pads for a smooth rim. If you want my opinion, you should grind your rim and get some Heatsink's or Koxx Bloxx :ermm: but you don't wanna grind so meh :( Is this Tom that snapped his fork's when me and Jack rode Carlisle?
  22. Same time next week i believe, it's about the circulatory system in a woman I think.
  23. I thought it was an incredible program! I was fine with all of it, apart from when he was pulling the spin apart to show all of the vertabrae and nerve's etc. :ermm:
