hey, would anybody know the thickness of a shimano disc and if there is a disc with a diameter that would work with an avid juicy 3, guessing the thickness wont matter too much, i think i could get it to work but just checking on here to see if anyone has had any problems doing somthing similar. cheers Mark

yeah, as far as your foots concerned at the end of the crank arm, it doesnt make any difference, the smaller diameter ratchet would surely need to be stronger 'cos it's got more leverage on the teeth? providing both large and small ratchets have the same number of engagements yada yada yada
