What's the situation with getting your bike on a train. I've seen a few threads about this but does anybody know if you can take your bike on a scotrail train? Any details would be great thanks.

It's usually 10 pounds on the day. There are sections for you to do but you don't have to do anything you don't want to.

dude, i just built a bike on tartybikes using an echo lite frame. It has a decent spec and it would cost 785 quid.

How much have you got to spend on the bike altogether? There isn't much point getting an expensive frame and rubbish parts.

even if the dmr's aren't 'super lightweight' they're reliable, and in the end it doesn't really matter if your pedals are heavy or not considering that you're standing on them.

I wouldn't pay for 45 for pedals to be honest. They are nice though.
