  1. At the end of the day, if you dont wear a helmet, the only person you'r going to hurt is yourself. You can still seriously ingure yourself if you wear a helmet, im not doubting you'll be safer if you wear one, but you wont be invincible like some people make out y ou to be.
  2. Finally. someone who's not helmet nazie I mean its your own choice wether to wear a helmet or not, why should anyone else care?
  3. I think alot of marks problems is his bike. All of your suggested techniques will help, but if you ever get the chance to ride his bike, you'd understand how heavy and sluggish it feels However, considering you have no job, get fit and bulk up bitch
  4. Well that opens the crate of what grade material your welding, what wire/stick your using, blah blah blah. But what im trying to say is ive always seen it snap at the weld line, steel and alu, so J.KYDD is pretty special
  5. Actually, the phrase is: Man the F**k up
  6. Im trying to make the point that a badly set up bike with bad components will make riding more difficult. I cant do half the stuff on your bike compared to mine.
  7. Why is it that every you say has a sexual second meaning? Im pretty sure even with decent penetration, its the weakest point
  8. Im sure they said that forged cranks are stronger and that my cranks could be worn. Im not 100% about the spacers part, but thats what i interperated/could figure out. I always thought they were tapered and locked out on each other. Could i get away without using the washers? What's their purpose? Adam? Ali? Mark? The trialtech bb is ment to be a bloody good one, never heard a bad review. I think me killing it is down to bad install/faulty product. Im running ffw, but i wouldnt go with a shorter axel, i prefer a wider stance.
  9. Actually, you ridden with that try all sticky on the back? You might find because your bike feels heavy and sluggish, your putting more effort in to doing anything. A good set-up will feel light and nimble, like mine (when it isnt broke )
  10. Edit: When Martin wakes you up
  11. A healthy diet and regular sleep pattern is a start
  12. To actually see it snap IN the weld? Thats unusual, metal usually breaks between the weld and tube (the weakest place). Gutted dude, she looks sweet otherwise
  13. Hope mono trial on a 180mm wavy disk. Use one finger breaking. It all depends on how good your front brake is and how much you trust it
  14. http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/media/guides/maintenance_rim_grinding/m2.html Always a good video to learn from
  15. Apologise for the poor night footage, it rendered ALOT darker than the original :/ Anyway enjoy
  16. Basically after killing my trialtech bb in a week im looking for advice :/ Im running adamant cranks, and the Tarty boys said that becasue they are cnc rarther than forged, they are weaker and my cranks might be worn on the splines (even though the cranks are a few months old), therefore pulling onto the bb axle too far, butting against the trialtech stop washers and creating too much side load on the bearings. Are the cranks ment to touch the stop washers? On my old onza bb/cranks, the crank splines locked out on the bb axle, and everything was hunky dory
  17. I didnt actually get that the first time i read it You can tell its a friday
  18. It says on his original post......
  19. how long have u had your old chain for? its recomended to replace your chain ever 3 or 4 months. if your old one is close to that, replace it. Its only £13, stop being cheap fatty
  20. Well done Luke, arn't you special
  21. Yeh, this is shite. My head's always held me back from doing certains drops/lines for ages. The first time i f**ked it up, but ended up bailing fine (it was quite funny actually). Once i knew i could bail safely, the jump was fine. Dont think of the jump ur going to do, think of the addreline rush you get when uve done it
