  1. Empattement 1095mm Wheelbase? Stock? shame if it is a stock, if it was a mod with a slightly higher bb, i wouldnt hesitate to buy it
  2. Rockman's answer to the limey? Looks good though
  3. That's what im running atm, but ive got/ and like to run a full echo brake on the front
  4. By what ive heard, its the slaves that are most common to leaking. im running a echo lever atm with a water bleed and its fine
  5. Nah, im all for water bleeds i swear by them I'd just be nice to know why they dont work, and any get arounds
  6. Well yes, but all rim brakes are gunna have the same setup :L Id question what u mention about magura, they have had longer to perfect their design, but they SPECIFICALLY say not to water bleed (voids warrenty) so they're not gunna design their stuff to work on what they tell you not to use..... im simply asking if someones looked into why Echo sl slave cylinders leak under a water bleed?
  7. Nah, i just want a more scientific answer than 'dengs stuff leaks because he hasnt been manafacturing as long'. How long you've been manafacturing doesnt directly affect the quality of your products
  8. i like it how on TF if you ask a serious question you get abuse back, but if u ask a stupid question, everyone else joins in ....
  9. I might be up for it, depends if i need to work on my engine. ive got Cligga saved in my satnav
  10. *sigh* I use a bath/bucket bleed, so the ratio's are gunna be more acccurate. Yet another stupid answer for a sensible question
  11. I was looking for a bit more scientific answer, like adams first post about pistons swelling up, ect. I know HOW to mix antifreese, i was asking wether theres a specific ratio which trials riders use
  12. Well i wanted to know the REASON why echo slaves leak, i.e tolerances, seals ect. Revolver just said because Deng hasnt been manafacturing them for long. As with the antifreeze, the instructions are for car engines, not bike brakes
  13. kinda didnt answer either of my questions
  14. Get ur F*****g 24" sorted so i can have a ride
  15. Ive seen one guy who's had one for years, its just imo The bearings they use are so tiny, im supprised it's lasted that long
  16. Adam, is there any reason why echo slave cylinders are more common to leaking than magura's? Different diameter piston? Different seals? Also, whats the idea ratio for water/antifreeze? 50/50?
  17. Mine was stiff for a while, and within 5 minutes of the last ride, i destroyed ALL the drive side bearings :L i put a post up on here, and someone had done the same in a few weeks
  18. ISIS is a better crank fitment, less flex ect, but square taper allows for bigger and better bearings Edit: me and a few other people have had a bad experience with onza ISIS bb's, destroyin the drive side bearings in a few weeks/months
  19. He's got a valid point. i guess because we were brought up with the back brake on the left, that's how we've always been used to it
  20. Right, that brings another question up. HOW tight should it be? a foot pound / nm figure would be awesome! Im always afraid to either not tighten it enough and have it screw up the threads, or overtighten it and screw up the threads
  21. Isnt that kinda contradictive? using a thread lock AND a lubricant?
