  1. Had a similar incident with someone pulling out infront of me at 70mph down a steep dual carridgeway. Apparently its difficult to flat spot Cooper c2 tyes, mine were f**king square by the time i finished
  2. tyre pressures? brakes dragging? suspension damage? All could cause it pulling to one side.
  3. Ive seen that happen to the bionic before, Took liam norwood one botched gap to front to fold the downtube. That born looks messed up, never seen anything like that before!
  4. You cant polish a turd.... but you can roll it in glitter! De-badged
  5. Surely, the noise is created by the pad vibrating, so metal backing would prevent this and make the brake quieter?
  6. Ive snapped one down the middle of the plate..... absolutly nothing to do with joining.
  7. I had a bloke explain to his son that a trials bike was like 'a bmx on steriods' Thought it was quite fitting!
  8. Best one ive seen is 3 pages
  9. Looking through the reviews on crc, the main gripe is the unsealed bearings causing issues.
  10. me being slow, thought you meant the try all cranks. just looking at the picture, i'd say 7-8mm of thread after bashring on the trialtechs.
  11. with a 3mm bashring, i reckon only 3mm of threads for the freewheel
  12. i say luck, i would have stripped that in one ride i 100% agree with you regarding cranks should have more threads, thats why i love the new trialtechs! theres no downside to having more threads, imo all cranks should be designed to have enough threads for the full width of the freewheel and a bashring.
  13. If they are 160/165mm try all cranks, they have so little thread on them, its dodgy as f**k to run a bashring
  14. Surprised the ban hammer hasn't arrived
  15. I always thought deng was going down the right route with with TR/SL thing. Have one line of products which are superlight, then another for strong/reliable.
  16. The new trialtech's have massive amount of threads, i cant see you stripping them with a sensible width bashring to be honest.
  17. i know! need to weld up a hole in the sill for MOT, and if it doesnt fail spectacularly ill sort the bodywork out. Its 90% plastic, i wouldnt get anything
  18. Finally got my front wheels on! Apparently i was being a pussy, and just needed to sand the paint off the inside of the wheels
  19. ive used a 40grit paddle disk on a grinder to sand down parts of my frame and i could possibaly see it working. it wouldnt be as effective as a grind, but it'd properly be better than a smooth rim
  20. Me too. Anodising is a surface coating, so it does improve resistance to corrosion and wear, but strength? I smell bull s**t
