  1. Pretty sure he's working for Fisher Outdoor Leisure.
  2. Yeah I kinda guessed at the stem length when I put it together, I'll give it a few rides and if I'm not feeling it, it's not the end of the world just to throw on a stumpy...
  3. Cheers for the comments guys! I had this frame built up about 4 years ago, managed to put 2 cranks in it but had them welded up and its been sweet ever since. Took it out for a little spin today and it rides pretty nice [still getting used to actually riding trials again] hopefully I'll be riding more soon so I can put it through its paces...
  4. Cheers! Yeah can't say I've seen anyone riding around in the local area but as you say the city seems a good option, if I jump on the train I'm at London Bridge in 20 mins which gives me all of South Banks area to play with...
  5. So I've not ridden trials in about 2 years now, the bug was slowly eating away at the back of my head to get back into it so I decided to build up my old old steed and get back on it! And here's what I created... Quick spec: Frame n' Forks - Pashley + Pashley Echo Urban Rims - rear Hope Pro 2 Trials XTR Levers - Avid 7 rear with Heatsink Reds and Echo Booster - Avid 5 Front - random pads Not really had chance to go for a ride on it yet, might go out for a spin today if I get chance, also now living in London where I've not ridden before so hopefully get out on a ride with others someday, or if anyone's up for a ride some time give us a shout!
  6. Pretty sure that was from quite a recent issue of MBUK... Correct me if I'm wrong?
  7. If he bought a frame with only on seatpost instead of two - it would be lighter... cock.
  8. Wasn't this tried ages ago? I've got some image in my head of it being Onza who gave it a go? I'm sure it never worked as well as a grind back then so was dismissed. Anyone else remember? I'm sure there was a picture posted on here about it... edit - Found it. Way back in 2005! http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....amp;hl=knurling
  9. Hahaha!! You sound as bout excited as your avatar looks! I'm full time too - Tuesday is my usual day off and Sunday too [i work Saturday ] But sometimes evenings whilst it's still light? Your actually just down the road from me then, I live opposite the park, crystal palace park road! Any good spots around here then? I'm poss available Sunday if you fancy it? Yeah I know it's really easy to get into the center but I was just looking for some local riders and spots whilst I was starting out again if you like. I'm sure I'll be joining the big rides soon enough!
  10. Arse, I'm at work at the mo so can't right now. Another time when I'm free though, you on msn?
  11. Howdy everyone. Well the deal is I moved to London nearly a year ago now and basically haven't ridden since then, I got the bug again, got my bike working and I want to start up on the trials scene once more! I live in Crystal Palace and wandered if there was anyone that rides around here? I also work in Clapham so anywhere around there is a possibility too. I know there are always massive rides in the city but I'm looking for just some local riders really to start off with just to get back into things. Age, ability etc is all irrelevant to me, just up for having some fun on my bike again!! Any takers? Mark.
  12. I'll think you'll find the original was the MHZ Hard question though given they will be ridden in two completely different styles. I'm gonna say I prefer the Pashley even though the Inspireds look a lot of fun. If you get the build right though I'm sure you'll love it!
  13. I'll second that! You've got a great style there, loving the salomon work
