Ignore everyone, this film is really, really good. The problem is that everyone is going in to see the monster when infact the film is more of a disaster piece revolving around the characters journey. I don't know if anyone else kept up with the viral marketing as well, but I did and think that's cool as well. If you are unaware of this, here's a nice rundown; Cloverfield Viral Rundown I felt I had a genuine connection with the characters, especially with the phonecall in the subway. The camera was slightly annoying, but it added to the atmosphere and confusion of the film. Did anyone else wtch the final scene closely? It's things like that which make J.J.Abram's work awesome and involving. Anyways, go and see this film, it's a fresh and creative idea pulled off very well.
