To be honest, I dont think the producers care who they give it to. They make money off of the competition anyway. And who says only girls watch smile, you were watching it, weren't you?

So If someone put no effort into editing it, but did some really good moves because they had been riding longer than some people, they would win. While a beginner with a relatively small repetoire of moves could spend weeks editing his video and put alot of effort in, and lose because of his limited riding skill? I think not.

Yes disc's are good in that they work in all weather and are really nice. However, breaking cables and all the kerfuffle invovles with rebleeding is annoying. Also, if you sidehop to the left disc's might hold you back in fear of bending your shiny new disc. They also sometimes make a gay noise *cough* Hope *cough*. And we all know that gay noises are...gay.

I have heard that the Avid Ti Brake arms are pretty flexy :( I would reccommend; XTR Brake Arms XTR Brake Lever I have heard nothing but praise for XTR series of components. The only downside WAS the price, but that has now gone down drastically, making them a brilliant choice. On the side of cables, I have heard that the BEST cable, for everything is; Odyssey Linear Slic Cable This setup is not only light, but (relatively) cheap, strong, and super powerful braking! The heatsink V pads are also a good choice
