I'm sure I did with mine.</p></blockquote> That's if your not going to use a bashring, they mean a shim that sits between your bash and freewheel. As mentioned you shouldn't need one as I have the older urban and it has a shim built in as with most modern bashrings.

Considered the pads with the stuff that turns hard on impact? Cant remember the name of them but im sure someone else will

Stay away from any zoo free hub as they had an extremely poor designs this includes the other ones he made just with another brand on it such as echo. Zoo stuff isn't light but it was built with strength in mind!

Not my choice Dad is being stubborn and wont let me ride without them if i have working brakes. But soon to have a brakless 24 which he has no control over unless he buys a new maggy for it

Mini fridge? Not that much nowadys either can get them from about £30/40 onwards?
-
Bit cheesy but ive got my dad a kettle, biscuits, milk, tea bags and a few mugs for Christmas for the new workshop as my dad loves a good cuppa so it will finish the workshop of nicely Maybe you could do something like this presuming your Dad likes to fiddle with bikes?
-
You could probably get one made if your that serious about it? Although you may need to have a few made to make it worth their while.

Chain is too long, you need the tensioner to be in a straighter position.

It will defiantly work but you may be kicking your self later in! Jaf repairs are very reasonable and saving for!

Jaf bikes would be the best option as he is technically eliminating the HAZ caused by the heat from welding. By using carbon fiber around the weld he is effectively diverting the stress that would usually go through the weld into the carbon which has a natural spring and flex. This is in theory eliminating the problem of rewelds as the softer alloy wont have any stress going through it so it wont crack again.

Drill a hole through the seat tube and post in the desires position and use a nut and bolt to secure it in place. Like this - http://mutantbikes.mfobmx.com/left-nav/24-framesm/evolution-v3
-
Cut it of where it is cracked and just hope you can still fit a clamp on. Don't bother drilling holes either side as that gives the crack and opportunity to spread in another direction as the area is already stressed and a hole is only temporary. If you don't mind spending the money you could contact Josh at Jaf bikes to get it carbon wrapped.

Seems i'll just have to get used to it then , thanks guys

Hi, Not your usual brake topic but i cannot seem to be able to ride with them? I had been riding riding brakeless for about 2 months at the most and ever since i have put my brakes on i cant ride at all! All my balance and confidence has gone, i can barely do half what i could brakeless. Has this happened to anyone else as this is really taking away any motivation i have to ride! All help is very much appreciated Thanks, Adam!

WD40 does lubricate aswell as displace water, so you can use either

Ben at trials addict runs EBC pads for his saints and they seemed good when i tried them.

I think i explained it wrong, i never meant a motor cycle helmet was banned but people would not like it and would ask you to remove it but this is not the case for a burka and i feel that is unfair. There are also other points against them other than the aesthetics ect - http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/asia/indonesia/9664150/Indonesian-man-escapes-jail-by-wearing-burka.html http://www.heraldsun.com.au/news/victoria/judge-could-not-be-sure-who-was-behind-the-veil/story-fn7x8me2-1226078801032 There are other ones i would have like to link but i cant seem to find them.
-
The Burka should be banned as it like wearing a motorcycle helmet everywhere you go.I feel they should wear a head scarf like this instead so people can still see their face ect as thing need to adapt to modern civilization. .

bike_dummie replied to clerictgm's topic in Trials Chat
Don't go for the trial tech rims presuming they are for the marino, if i were you id get a set of spank or atomblab rims as they are just as light and super strong! -
I cant see anything wrong? Whats the problem with it?

I know this isnt much help but i know you can get apps that count how much data you have used ect. I'm currently using onavo count for my data usage ect. It shows how much data used in a percentage from the begining to end of your contract's month and a daily, weekly and monthly data average usage. You can most likely get these sort of apps for minutes and texts aswell. Could be good evidence if this happens again in the future eg next month
