  1. Hi, As the title says i am wondering if the Try-All pre-built wheel is compatible with an Echo lite 2011 frame (the one with magura mounts aswell) as it says in the description, Recommended for rim brake use due to the slightly non-standard position of the disc mount, but it says nothing about this in the decription of the hub? Basically what I want to know is will this work or will I have spacing issues? Is there any modifications I can do as I don't want to waste my money.
  2. I personally would send it to hope as alex dark ( i think ) serviced his and it turned out worse than before. Edit: Saying that I have serviced my hope twice new seals ect with no problems at all.
  3. Surley a lefty ( spelling ) would be ok because its only one leg anyway so its an all in one kinda thing.
  4. I think k-124 had a special deal on a bulk buy sorta the same thing as the purple sky bikes. May be wrong?
  5. Rock N Roll bikes have all ways been great for postage and very helpful!
  6. I use the same as Wierdoko, i think its great although it is my first and only case. But its gotta work as my phone ( desire hd ) was runover by a bently and it is still working fine no cracked screens ect.
  7. The bearings in my rockman bub hub made a rattly ticking noise in the process of them dieing after that it turned into more of a clunky noise. This noise also only happened when coasting with a fair bit of speed.
  8. If this is just cosmetic couldnt you just get a headlock (heard the gusset ones are good) and a tnn top cap or drill your current one slightly bigger than the hose and do it this way or will this not work? In my opinion this is the best option as a headlock will not slip and there will be very little modifications made only downside is it if a few grams heavier.
  9. Gotta be the nicest Echo 24 ive seen so far IMO!
  10. Better late than never!
  11. They work in the same way as 2pc bmx cranks but instead the bearings screw in like a standard bb all you need to do is slide the axle through the bb and then put the other crank on and tighten, at least i think thats how it works. link not sure if this will help?
  12. Ridest.com has a ratio guide for 20, 24 and 26 (55" bmx standard) , can't link you as I'm on my phone but it used to be at the top of the forum. I put a link in bike chat if you want to look there.
  13. Tried sanding the side walls with a medium grade of emery?
  14. You can get a clear coat as used on frames such as echo to prevent oxidising. Lacquer will just flake and scratch off.
  15. What cranks are you using? The old middle burns had this problem, all you need to do is file a slight bit material off.
  16. He has a bike check video on his vimeo account, If remember correctly it is kenda k rads
  17. Can some one explain what an insert is please as I have never heard of one?
  18. If you can't find a tall enough headset and want to stick with the echo frame you could always get a machinists to make one to fit you current headsets fittings, not sure how much it will cost though?
  19. Friend has one of these and it looks better in real than in pictures and it seems nice to ride nice as well only down side is you will need to upgrade the brakes as they just have no hold.
  20. The frames are good for the price, but you will defiantly need to replace the freewheel as it is a death trap of an acs claw and maybe the tyres the rear v wont be that much of a problem.
  21. Tried moving the tensioner's angle you may need to remove.the pin from the back for the best adjustment.
  22. Havnt got there email sorry, but I'm pretty sure a quick Google you will find it and most likely shops that sell them. I've also heard good things about shimano am41's.
  23. yes my bad re-read, it is short of wheels brake and bars, still a very good deal.
