  1. Don't mean to hi-jack this thread but are there any more bmx hubs (14mm male axle) capable of trials other than a profile?
  2. Personally I think that it is over priced when it has Quando hubs bb5 ect, you can get a much better deal including postage on here. Onza limey 320 £350 - spec - onza limey 320 frame sprayed satin black, used to be gold, mint condition, 4 bolt mounts helicoiled (lot stronger) bb threads are immaculate. tensioners included, fitted with a fsa pig dh pro headset. the frame has some viz curved blade disc forks included, the disc mount is fine and has been faced. will also include a onza master stem. Same price extremely better spec!
  3. I've seen front saints go for £50 on eBay, sure you could find one if you looked hard enough especially as its Christmas.
  4. It was just an idea, but it was more for items such as zhi bionic or older items that are not on tarty, i just did a few to start the thread.
  5. hi, Post your reviews for parts such as frames, forks, chains ect in here but no pad reviews as there is already a thread for that. Please Don't post a review if you have only used the part for a month or less and please no discussion. Please do lay out the review as done bellow and state riding style eg if you are smooth or if you are a bit of a basher. Ill start off with posting some reviews; Style, bit of a basher to an extent as i am still learning. Part: Trialtech disc forks (+20) Time used: 8months Review: No problems with the fork, very stiff and well made still running strong, only down side is that the drpouts are 9mm desighned for trialtech hubs where as other hubs such as echo, rockman ect use 10mm this is an easy fix so overall i give the forks 4/5. Part: KMC Z610 HX, 3/32" chain Time used: 8months Review: Strong, light with no stiff links, hasn't broke once over a 8month period of riding most days of the week. Not sure what else to say abut a chain, I rate the chain 5/5. Part: Try all lock on grips Time used: 6months Review: These grips are nice and thin and very grippy grips but the knurled suface wears down fast but this doesnt overly effect there performance another down side is thier high price at £16 is a bit over priced but i still highly recomened these grips as they are nice to hold and relatively thin so I rate these grips at 3.5/5 . I will post some more reviews up later.
  6. Isopropyl alchol - ipa as used in screen wiped ect.
  7. Thanks for.all the replys, I will.deffiantly look into.a new freewheel. The freewheel is has just gone past 7months old is this too late and it was purchased form tartybikes.
  8. hi, Recently i have had problems with my freewheel becoming extremely stiff to turn in one specific spot it also makes three clunks at 3 o'clock when free-wheeling? I have tried soaking it in GT85 for 24hours as I have no freewheel tool. Any suggestions to fix my problem or is it time for a new freewheel? Adam
  9. Another vote for the sl! How long and reliable is there warranty?
  10. looking good mate! Black rear wheel, green clamps, bar ends, ect.
  11. Remove the axle and send it to tarty, they will put the axle in the lathe for around £10 and postage for just an axle will be cheap as chips. Saves you ruining a £100 set of forks for the sake of a easily replacable £15 axle.
  12. Ive heard the newer ones are no where near as good as the old ones.
  13. Wrap your current tube up in another tube , heavy but when I did it I never got another puncture
  14. By far the best flatland video i have seen imo.
  15. Scam? Happened to my mums bank account, page address ect all looked very genuine and it asked her for her atm pin. Doesn't paypal used your debit card not credit anyway?
  16. I bought some trialtech forks earlier this year and i run a crown race (fsa orbit xtreme pro) with no problems and no 1mm gap, maybe they changed the design?
  17. I think it may be because of un-eyleted rims and the spoke pulling through due to rotation? Pedals may also be designed for static use, but I'm not sure on that.
  18. isis bolts will be fine as long as you buy the right size. what actual bb do you have as it will either be m12 or m15.
  19. biketrialseller.com stocks zhi bionic ect.
  20. Considered anodizing/hardcoat? Just as durable and will show stress marks (not to sure on hardcore but anodize will) as a warning before a crack forms.
  21. The weight was just a bonus as i want the bike to stay strong
  22. The spec was mainly out of interest and/or if i had to look up the weights of certain parts in case no one knew the weight of the complete bike.
  23. Any idea where I can find the autobiography?
