I have a try all sticky( not lite but same compound as far as i know) on the front and is now bald after 3months from brand new. Still very grippy, they even used to sell a slick version of the tyre! I ride every day as well.

Dmr - I have heard the OW can bend. black market - they are very short and not many people like them due to making the bike hard to manual ect.

That was just one of the ways to do the fix. Id hardly call it a bodge if you do it properly.

The 04 maggy's where prone to tpa not working, fix guide >>> 1. remove lever and tpa 2.tap the tpa hole 3.use the correct size bolt instead 4.you have a tpa I presume you miss typed hs22 and you mean hs33?

then as ghost rider says your doing something wrong. Try setting the brake up so that the disc is dead in the middle of the pad.

What hope brake is it, piston sizes differ from brake to brake.

I thought the code 5 was the heavy duty line of the avid range? If it is the elixir wont be as good as the code.

what frame do you have? do you run a booster? Silent and poor performance can sometimes be caused by the brake being to stiff if you run a booster try taking it off as the brake will need slight flex. My genuine coust pads are silent when most people say they are very loud.
