My DMR V8's are very grippy and strong to say the least further post dost apply to the dmr v8 pedals. Just make sure you get the right pedal for what you want some pedals are for different forces such as static ect.

When used for trials, the pedals come under different loads and forces compared to their usage on other bikes (e.g. BMXs) or on unicycles. They are designed to withstand static forces and 'normal' bicycles put more cyclic loads on the pedal axles. While they're fine for use on a trials bike (I've been using these pedals since they first came out, almost a year, and have had no issues with them), some customers have reported they've had some problems when using them on unicycles and some other types of bike.
