  1. yeah they are ugly as sh*t. the "ska" is one of the most horrible color schemes i have seen. i don't want to diss onza too much but those bikes look like over priced, tacky starter bikes. ^that is purely my opinion don't have a go if you like them. i think if they go for a bold color they need to mix it with a neutral color like white or black. (ooh get me, laurence lewellin bowen over here ) haha. +1 for the pokemon thing ahaha
  2. if you dont damage it too much then yeah itll work. get a long rod, i use a bit of copper plumbing pipe, i then put the bolt in the starnut and put the pipe over the bolt (to keep it centered) then bang it with a hammer down through the forks till it pops out. if you have forks with a steerer that gets thicker at the bottom you will have an issue though. if not just buy a new one, they are only like £5.00 on tartys.
  3. same, if these powdercoaters pull their finger out haha should have it back friday. touch wood..
  4. onza t-pro is a good beginner bike. look on ebay. if you ride a mountain bike and are switching to trials etc itll prob be a better idea to go for a 24" or 26" wheel. if your completely new to it go for a 20" and look at this and study hard http://www.trashzen.com/balance-for-biketrial.php lol. put in the search bar.. (in the top right of your screen) .. "beginner trials" or "new to trials" it'll come up with a few other threads people have started etc. hope this helps.
  5. they look mint! but i think you should go for something a little better tried and tested. like hopes if you can afford them or avids.
  6. hahahahha! mint. does that make the rotor any thinner?
  7. http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/media/guides/product_guide_handlebars/m11.html that will outline it. id go for some risers. as above the onza carbons are good. i got some echo tr risers but at £45 they're not cheap.
  8. haha nah onza. the one that comes on the 2010 zoot.
  9. i think we have stumbled across the problem haha. im about to leave mine for 3 months. god know what will happen when i get back!!! haha
  10. i think i may have misunderstood his problem? anyway my main point is.. running the cable through the forks if fine, as long as you don't have more than say a 90 degree angle then its fine.
  11. yeah i agreed to sell the onza one to my mate for pretty much the same price im buying the echo one for, and i prefer the echo one. i have to see what i end up like money wise before i decide. im a bit of a tart you see, like my bike to look good before i go destroy it. lol. yeah someone mentioned they're zoo forks. ill change it in the 1st post now.. i should be picking up frame and forks this friday, so there will be a massive update friday night. (fingers crossed)
  12. i always run my brake through the forks, always worked fine for me. i had a bb5 with a cheap cable too. all you need is a hollow star nut and bolt. im running maggy hs33's through the forks at the moment and all fine too. i dont think winding the cable round the headtube will be very good, because when id done a footjam and the rear brake cable was wrapped once or twice around the frame, the cable was being oulled and the brakes were on abit.
  13. yeah should have done, thought this would be quicker.. haha. cheers man.
  14. this is a rear brake, on a neon bow 2009 mod frame. so i take it i need a 180 rotor? i wish hope could just say.. 160mm adapter.. 180mm.. and so on .. lol
  15. mines bled with royal blood. i run it through the forks so cant take it off to water bleed. theres nothing wrong with the older style hs33's, its just these new ones.
  16. i had mine a month with no problem then i left mine standing for 2 weeks whilst i had no forks, get them back and the brakes were leaking loads! i re bled and have been riding near enough everyday and theyve been alright. i find some occasionally inside the little cover. but im going away for 3 months in a week, so if i come back and they're leaking i'm gonna send them back on warranty to have them checked out. are they leaking from the little gaps in the lever?
  17. got this.. question.. does the plus 20 adapter allow me to run a 180mm rotor? and to run a 160 i would have to take off the adapter yeah? i need to buy a rotor anyway so i wanted a 180. so if this brake with the +20 adapter would allow me to run a 180 its all good. i dont want to buy another adapter just to run a 180. hope that makes sense, i've never had a hope before so im not 100% sure.
  18. nah they are just as good in my opinion. i had dual bb5's on my old old old bike and they were sooo powerful. i then "upgraded" to juicy 5's and they were shit, and i had sold the bb5's to fund the juicy 5's. the juicy 3's on my xc bike were pretty shit. ive bought a hope mono trial rear brake, ill give it a chance but if its no good im vowing to stick to mechanical brakes for the rest of my riding life. saying that all magura hydraulics are excluded, they are all awesome. lol
  19. i've bought: - a hope mono trials rear brake, a tensile 60 click for £15 which will get here by friday new crank bolts a chain other than that.. F.A. has happened, powder coating was meant to be done last friday but they didnt even start it!! after a bit of a heated phone call they are doing it now and i will be picking it up on friday. ill put some pics up of the hope etc asap. all i need now is a hope front brake, and 2x 160mm rotors. and im buying a green echo bashring off a mate soon when i get the cash. but ive pretty much exhausted my money till i get paid.
  20. i wouldnt recommend it, its shit, haha

  21. i was hammered in that picture. i probably mistook it for a budweiser haha. nah but corona does taste like mexican cat piss. hahaha

  22. yeah it is expensive lol. maybe just start with the chain and get new pads for the v's. yeah you can link a new chain, you need a chain tool (£5) you measure up the chain, pop it off at the length you need, then use the link provided with the chain to re-attatch it. yeah you can pick one up for the same price as a mechanical really. but they gotta be bled and if your running them through the forks (like i always do) then its a pain in the arse etc. bb7's are just as strong and dont need half as much attention.
  23. its a quote off family guy. im not sure what the relevance of putting it in this thread is, but hey-ho. lol
  24. front disc brake (bb7's good), better pads on the back maybe with a avid sd7 brake and levers and a booster. I ran a fatter rim & tyre on the front, 2.4 holy roller. better for street stuff. oh yeah, CHAIN! the one on the zoot is literal crap.
