relax. you look stiff as hell on some of your moves. when your about to land when dropping down to the pallet, lean back a bit more. the momentum you gained from the kick will stop you falling back when you land, (provided you have good brakes) really just practice practice practice, free your body up a bit and exaggerate your body movements a little.

id go echo mate. even if its a little more bashed. could always get it powdercoated and a frame protector to cover up dent etc.

paint will probably cost about £100, because they have to shot blast and sometimes sand smooth, do multiple coats etc, takes ages. to powdercoat a frame is about £35-£45, because all they do is shot blast it, dip it in some cleaner, powder it then cook it. plus powdercoat lasts longer. hope this helps

i normally just drink 3 cans of redbull and get my mate to reassure me by saying "man up" it usually works to be honest. if that fails... make a kung-fu noise whilst performing the move scientifically proven to help. but on a serious note... i do the same as above, start out small and build up.

try letting your rear tyre down a little. i was practicing ages ago and could get about 10, then found out i was on a rock hard tyre. let it down to 30ish psi now my record is 60 something.

i got an brand new black echo spacer for that if you want it? its to put between the cranks and the freewheel to push the freewheel closer in to the frame. £4 posted?

if im brutally honest, we didnt really see much. there were like 5 moves, some we didn't get to see the whole move. but loving the super-duper slow mo. f*cking brilliant. editings awesome too.

i like it, but i wish they would just release the whole video, they've already made it. the whole voting thing.. they've already made the video so give the choices that are going to favor what he has already done. like if they say, what should danny do across the next gap? backflip with a mctwist, or get off and walk round... duh. if we got shed loads of people to vote for the shite option they would be screwed! plus you have to watch a massive intro and the 1st video again on the 2nd video etc. apart from that little rant, as ever macaskills riding is immense! wish i was that good.. lol.

its not that tatty, 90% of the damage was cosmetic and will disappear when shotblasted. the other 10% is the dings to the chainstay, which i spent ages filing down to be kinda smooth, then ill chuck on a chainstay protector if it will fit, then itll be un-noticable. the only thing im concerned about is that the frame is 2 years old and has had 4 previous owners, so i dont know if it will crack soon. anyone know how long a neon bow lasts for? lol. edit: also i haven't spent that much on it really. the grand total at the moment is 480ish i think. and all i need is a freewheel, chain, front brake lever and cable. maybe 2 new rotors but dunno yet. considering my echo 24" cost me 1000 im doing pretty well haha.

have you bedded in the pads yet? cos when i got new pads my brakes were shit, had 2 weeks worth of jump bike sesh's, re adjust and they nearly threw me over the bars.
