  1. ah yeah haha i just went on your profile and noticed you were friends with him and tom, i remember him telling me about you. I dunno what has caused it happened when i got the bike was only till recently it started doing it again cause it did it when i got it
  2. na its not to bad when you actually see it. I just started to get annoyed with the bike cause i have come of many times from it coming out of place so i got it made but i have grown a lot more confidence with them on i just never understood why it slipped out i always checked it had no grease on the axle and tightened it and then the other day not only did it come out it snapped the axle bolt aswell. I just thought it would be worth putting on just to see what people would say cause it has worked out pretty well
  3. Hi i was just wondering if there are any riders with the Ashton/Diamondback 26" and if so i was wondering if they have had any problems with their rear wheel slipping out of place. I have had this problem since i got the bike and i have come up with a design and it has been made and tested to stop the rear wheel coming out
  4. ah okay then i was just wondering cause i only really just heard of it haha but i thought it was reliable i was just making sure in case i got ripped of haha
  5. alright then thanks for the comments i may use it for future purchases cause in some case's it may be cheaper its £50 quid on there but its £47 on trial-bikes even if you do have to pay a bit over £5 for shipping and that you may find that some products may be cheaper
  6. the bearings may have gone in your pedals or bottom bracket i have the same problem just cant be bothered to get a new one yet haha
  7. i dont think you can replace them cause they dont have replacement parts i would rather stick with a normal bash cheaper works the same and cheaper to replace cause you will have to buy a whole new bash if you were to mess that one up getting back to to topic has anyone looking at this used it so i know what the service is like cause i may invest in something on there but i dont want to go to order something and it not turn up
  8. might aswell stick with a normal bash ring cause it does the same job saves you spending like 50 quid but yeah would be interesting to see what their service is like
  9. Hi i was just wondering if anyone in the UK has used the trial-bikes.com and if so if it is good service and if its not to expensive to ship over
  10. i will be up for it i really wanna see new places to ride other than weymouth
  11. im not as cramped now it was just that echo stem that made me cramp. Got myself a trialtech high rise so my backs more straight and so i dont get back pains. Some of that stuff is also old footage from beginning of the summer so not many recent footage. We have improved since then well i have a tiny bit but the guy on the onza and forrest one on the ZOO! have improved more
  12. were about you going on portland up the bill? i might join you on that ride havent ridden portland properly yet and its only half an hour away from me
  13. I'm on the ashton but then im not very good cause ive only been doing trials for 8 and a bit months
  14. if you have miss it go onto 4oD and you can watch it there
  15. http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/26_inch_stems/system_ex_318mm_clamp/c41p609.html this one cause most street riders have about 25 or 35 degree rise in their stems so that would do you good plus you dont need it to long so i would also go for a 90mm but thats my thoughts anyway haha i dont know too much about street bikes
  16. yeah i might well do cause i ride every single day its probably a bit too much really haha. I'm gonna get the Trial Tech High Rise i reckon cause i do quite like the feel of 120mm x 20° so i may aswell try out 130mm x 25° thanks for the posts though and sorry if i have wasted anyone's time
  17. oh right okay then urm i guess i will go for the Echo TR 125mm x 35° then and yeah i try not to strain myself but i just get into so much i love doing it but then i take a week and a bit off and really want to ride again haha my own fault for over doing it haha
  18. thanks for those so should i go for a higher rise cause my back keeps hurting really bad when i ride i have been looking at the Echo TR 125mm x 35° but i just dont know what would help
  19. could someone please help me i want to get a new stem cause every time i ride i seem to strain my back and i think i might need a higher rise. I dont know what to choose between Echo TR or a Trialtech Welded High Rise but dont know what size would do me good
  20. i am liking the parts you have brought out they are rather cool like your half ring quite a good idea putting a shock absorber in im sure it works a treat i might have to get my self one once i get my new BB and cranks cause my bash ring is pretty messed up

    Halfords

i could never trust halfords after my mate went in and asked how to measure a hub and they didnt know and they said to go to a bike specialist when it clearly says uk's number 1 bike specialist
  22. i think i prefer the 2010 models they dont really look that great and i wanted to get one in the future that's a big disappointment
  23. I ride a stock and i went from a 24" street bike. Mods are easier to whip about so i guess it would be a bit easier to gap and with the lightness they would be easier to do like side hops but with a stock they are more stable and big which i find good for when i get up things. Some times they seem quite sketchy but once you got the hang of it its quite fun. I have only been riding 7 months and people can correct me if they will but i would watch some videos and decide which looks better and easier for you to ride on
