  1. My boyfriend created an account with my e-mail address and told me to look at for sale and videos...
  2. I get you, and i can't be trusted with light weight parts. Maybe one day... I'll get it.
  3. if i change the seat tube length to 200 not 110 it would work... Hmmmmm
  4. Shhhhh!!! You have to spoil everything! lol no i wasn't thinking that but i could just glue it on! Besides we have two other bikes that require pivitols, and i seem to collect bike seats i have like 10 plus ones on bikes lol! But on the other hand it could be a good thing as i do like a seat, it helps my manual balance Damn you another thing to think about!
  5. lol can't wait to find out what it will be now!
  6. i get shaving weight of wheels and unsprung weight and all that shizzle, but i do also forget how precise trials actually is.. And this 100g saving will get you 5cm further on a gap or up?
  7. I have measured the reach off my t-pro frame, so i definitely think that reach is what i want. I've put a quote in with Jaf Bikes and thinking thats who I'm going with, he has done me a drawing of the geo i stated earlier. do you mean where the HA angle line comes out, it don't meet the 1000WB line? so it would be better with a 990ish wb?
  8. Just to add my comment was easily miss read, i wasn't intendant on sounding patronising. I'm just struggling to understand what the fuss about saving a few grams is all about.
  9. see i have an iphone 4 and using the forum in safari browser works fine... And its free
  10. Just use it, get used to, it then buy something super light and you'll be amassed!
  11. Right that all makes perfect sense! Thank you very much guys i think the geo i've landed on is: WB: 1000 CS: 355 HA: 73 Reach: 600 BB: 65 Any reasons why this would be bad Geo?
  12. Any chance of a small elaboration matthew? Really want to learn what this stuff does to your bike and why and how
  13. Yeah headtube angle determines how easy it is to handle on the front wheel don't it?
  14. Do you know the headtube angle at all? But yeah i'm deffo thinking short and flicky! And yeah flip's mod has left me thinking, that or Nick Cookes mod. Both super street riiders so their bikes have gotta be good!
  15. After snapping two second hand onza frames in less than two months, and not being that bothered about weight, I've decided to get a steel frame. I'm used to riding my t-pro and i like the geo. I can't find the exact geo in the quick scan of the internet I've done. The chain stays are 355mm that's as far as i've got. Does anyone know the geo off hand? Or how do i measure the other bit's without rebuilding the frame? Not to mention i wouldn't know how to measure BB rise even if it was built. Next question is would anyone recommend different geo? I'm not TGS style and have no intesion of ever wanting to be so i don't think i require the 200,000 BB rise. What does the BB rise change on a bikes reactions anyway? Been looking at different frames and they are all slightly different, so what would people say is the most street trials orientated 20" frame? The ECHO lite 09(short) geo looks roughly what i'm thinking how simmilar is it to the t pro geo i'm looking for i know the chainstays are longer by 12mm?? Will that make it harder to lift up with the shorter mod stem i'm plan on running? 101 questions because i think a custom frame is like a tattoo, put no thought in, rush it and regret it...?
  16. Snapped another trials frame... I really do need to sort my life out!

  17. There's always one ain't there...
  18. Lol his and hers bikes, the very thought makes me want to jump off the pier! Btw guys it's times like this I regret selling my megamo. Have spotted another one of these cheaper really tempted again! P.s for those of you that hate old Skool bikes check out the geo of them. Most of the modern frames have gone full circle and using the same geo. it's the look of them that's changed the most.
  19. Forget this! Anyone want to buy a Union Street Bikes 24" street/park bike? It's got pegs! Would consider a swap for a nice mod!

Don't get me wrong, i love the bike it ride's real good! But everything worth doing on it seems really dangerous, unless we go skatepark's. And we never do as Jims always on a trials bike and kenners wont ride park :(

  20. Yeah, i think i have ditched the idea now anyway! And yes the pink stickers were quite appealing! Why can't marino make alloy frame's
  21. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/221097684961?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649#ht_500wt_1203 Defiantly before my time, but for some really really strange reason i like the look of it. In my head if i were to put my trial tech fork's, short stem, riser bar's and my pink wheels etc etc it would look ace... But if there's one thing I've learnt in trials is, look aren't everything... Anyone know the Geo of it off the top of their head's? Would it be at all ethical to fit a pivotal seat or similar instead of the stupid mini seat! How old is it? Is the dent in the chainstay going to make it last a week with me being heavy footed? Or have I been fooled and its a bmx with mod parts and Monty sticker's? So yeah general criticisum of the bike, or comments are well revived at this stage because i'm very tempteding's, but my other half sneered at it.
  22. Erm, I think you need a new tyre, or did the chickens do that? Chicken Burn? No, not funny? To be fair i need one of these frames! Might save me replacing them all the time. Get you maggies sprayed black! Maybe the chickens too!
  23. why do i spend all of my spare moneys on bikes i don't actually need?? :/
