I did it 3 weeks ago. Theres still pain but I can walk, I just haven't got full movement. I'm just worried about riding again too soon. It's still swollen but nowhere near what it was like.

Its in my ankle. I'm 30 and ride about 8 hours a week. Thanks.

Has anyone torn ligaments before and how long did it take to heal?

Why not start a thread called what is trials and we can all discuss it for days and leave this thread to comment on a sidehop on a Zoot. The new thread could even be pinned as it seems to come up on a monthly basis. Even better would be a "Your A C**t" thread for us all to have a go at each other.

It seems like whenever Damons name gets mentioned the thread turns into a massive debate about style. Who cares at the end of the day. Why don't people just comment on the clip and say if they like it or not. Personally I wasn't that impressed as he's done it hundreds of times before but I'm also aware that he was just mucking about. It'll be good to see if he can bring anything new to the table if he does get a street bike, I think he can but as I mentioned above its down to how he enjoys riding and not how other people think he should.

Yeah it was a reply to the comment above mine. I should have quoted him. It'd be interesting to see what he could do on a bike like this. People seem to think all he can do is TGS.

Its not his bike it was just a mess about. He's said about getting one though and riding more streety.

I wonder how many cases like this Tarty have seen and what percentage that is of all the Echo free wheels they sell.

Why not try 14 on the back. I had a similar problem, 18 15 was ok for me at first because it seemed easy to flick about but I reached a point where I couldn't gap further or hop higher. 18 14 allows me to put more power in.

I used Heatsinc yellows with a smooth Trialtech rim and that worked ok with a bit of tar, it was a lot better with a grind though. I think different tar can make a difference as well but people may think thats a load of rubbish.

I don't get the whole debate about it being worthwhile. If it works fine if not switch it back. To the guy that started the thread. If you can put your theory in to practice it'd be interesting to see the results.
