  1. There's usually a few out in hull every weekend but we usually just sort it via text or on hull trials on facebook
  2. As I said in my original post I don't really know why I feel that way and I wouldn"t stop her if she really wanted to ride trials. I'd just worry like mad.
  3. Did I say I'd be happy or that it wouldn't bother me as much? The point I was making was that its generally considered normal for boys to go out and get covered in mud and get cuts and bruises, not that I would want to see them fall off a cliff.
  4. I think it may stem from being kids. A lot of lasses are encouraged when it comes to stereotypical girl stuff so when they get older they stick to what they know. I have a daughter and I can't explain why but, i wouldn't want her to ride trials as its dangerous but if I had a son it wouldn't bother me so much. I don't think anybody I ride with would be bothered about riding with a girl, in fact most of us have been beaten by Donna Fox at Tyke trials.
  5. Course it was sunny. It always is in Hull, thats why its the greatest city on earth.
  6. I like it. Miles better than a piece of tyre taped on like some people use
  7. I'm currently running an avid 185mm rotor and not sure what pads. I want to change to a 203mm rotor but want some recommendations on pad and rotor combos. Thanks
  8. Its been changed to the 28th of July. We'll put more info up soon
  9. I remember when you posted the picture of Dan Walkers after it snapped in half and people were saying stuff about them being weak, despite the fact it was about 3 years old and had been ridden by Damon and Dan. Thats pretty good going if you ask me.
  10. TNN washerless clamps are awsome(I've never tried the ehco ones though). I had to take 2mm off my bolts as well when I changed my frame as, although it seemed tight, the cylinders moved when the brake was on.

    Wtf...

True. Ideally the staff would have some training about the stuff they're selling.

    Wtf...

Its good that such a big company with so much influence is taking an intrest.
  13. I learnt the way your doing it. It'll just click one day and you'll suddenly find you can get your balance point every time. It's just a case of keeping practicing (something you'll hear a lot while learning).
  14. I do exactly the same. I've even considered taping my foot to the pedal but I'm not sure its the best idea.
  15. Why do so many threads end up like this? It's ironic that a thread complaining about people being bitchy has turned in to a thread were everybody is being bitchy

    An Hours Ride

It's only a bit of banter. Hopefully he'll see the funny side

    An Hours Ride

You probably could go bigger. Come to hull and I'll teach you if you like
  18. If only the stock was in that colour. Looks really good
  19. Convince your boss to stock them then you can try one on and decide if you like it
  20. I think they struggle to shake off the budget tag which most people associate with poor quality. I bought a genesis frame recently though and I would say the quality was as good as a lot of other big manufacturers. I did paint it before I built it up though as the paint job looked shot
  21. Thanks. I'm having a bit of trouble uploading pictures
