I very rarely have dreams, but I quite often have nightmares. I had one recently about having cancer, but the dream/nightmare was just made up of 3 chemo sessions. Often in my nightmares I wake up in my room (While the nightmare continues) and feel I can't escape and end up in the corner opposite my door balled up waiting for something to come in. Fun night times, I wake up in cold sweats on the verge of shitting myself often.

It'd be awesome if he did though.

I would never pay that much, but they are clearly better. Even if that £200 headset is only 50% better than the £9 one, it's probably hard to push it to be so much better/lighter/smoother/stronger, so that's where all the money is. Plus all that extra money can be put into research into an even better headset.

The ending is brilliant, the film isn't great but the ending, if you spot it, is a brilliant way to finish the film.

They're really high quality, using high calibre materials, for people that either A. Have the money to spend on the sport, or B. Compete at a professional level therefore require the very best?

I doubt many people would ride the way I was suggesting, and I agree that MA would be a better workout in general. I was just saying that you can get a lot out of trials if you really wanted to. But most people do it just as a hobby and for a laugh, so they rarely push themselves hard. I feel any sport is a good work out for that sport, and if you just want general fitness go to the gym and do spinning.
-
So you're comparing two completely different things then, the explosive power you'd gain from riding trials is more than you would from your martial arts. At the end of a martial arts class you wouldn't be able to do certain things in the same way you can't get up the same size obstacles during an entire day of riding. MA = A cardio/stamina based workout. Trials = An explosive strength based workout. If you continually pushed with trials, and just didn't go for as big as you could, but kept riding even if you had to go smaller, you'd be just as tired. During an MA session you're constantly doing things, you could do exactly the same with trials, you just don't. Like you said, because you're only gonna do it if you can go big big big. You're riding trials for enjoyment, not a workout, if you did it as a workout, you wouldn't stop just because you couldn't get up things, you'd just try to get up smaller things.
-
So what you're saying is, martial arts is better because you keep going and pushing for longer? If you go out and ride hard for the same duration, as in riding a continuous line, it'd be just as good. The thing is with trials you often stop, or end up hopping while you "eye up" whatever you're doing. Trials is a workout, as is any physical activity, how good of a workout is completely up to you, if you were to balance on your back wheel and nothing else, it'd be good for your core, and arms/shoulders. If you do more, it works you more, how long you do it for, how big you go (relative to your ability), how much you ride around between doing stuff, how constantly you are doing different things as opposed to sitting on your back wheel doing nothing, is all going to affect how good of a workout it is.

Do you have to play music with lyrics over the top? Because it's f**king shit, why not just play Techno/Electro/House, whatever, without that shit. It's infinitely better, surely you want your name to be big with the right crowd? Not the masses.

Just play that, on repeat, no lyrics. Winnar.

Teenage Angst Communal Agony Aunt Thread
MonsieurMonkey replied to Has anyone seen my shoe?'s topic in Chit Chat
The reason you doubted her was because you are scared to lose her. Say that to the bitch and guilt the f**k out of her. Cheeky fanny. Being honest and she complains. Not talking for a while won't change anything really, you'll just wonder what she did while you weren't talking, and wonder how many times she met up with her ex. Then you won't want to ask her in case you offend her etc. The spiral of doooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooom. -
Say what? He did something wrong, people hold it against him, regardless of when it was. There's a reason why people get labeled scammers on here, so they can't do it again, and so people know what they did, it's held against them. The slate should not get wiped clean when you f**k up.

Questions To Ask/ Information To Find Out When Buying A Bike?
MonsieurMonkey replied to crashbanggg's topic in Chit Chat
Get him to make a paypal account, round it up to 350 for his troubles? Covers the 3% plus a bit extra. That's what I'd do anyway. -
Good video, the only thing that I could say about it was the shakes, and even then sometimes it wasn't that bad. I enjoyed it.
-
Yeah I know what you mean, I love a video that flows together well, that's kinda why I hate TGS, it seems to stuttery and unnatural. I agree with the "new material" as it were, I'd much rather watch someone do smaller things or whatever, but in a way I've never seen. Watching someone who's doing things differently, makes me think differently, it's quality when I think while watching a video "Oh if I was as good as them I'd do this or that in that same spot", especially when it's something I've not seen.
-
I liked it. But I hadn't seen Macaskill's videos until recently, so I guess I don't see him as the original or anything. I'm not very good at picking riders out, I just kinda see everything as one style. This is 24" street to me I guess, as opposed to watching Watson do TGS or whatever. I look at everything differently anyway now, I used to see it all as a competition, I'm way more chilled now. I just see it as, like you said, people expressing themselves via bike.
-
What about all the TGS videos? All that changes is the wall.

I played the first Red Orchestra a while back, when's it coming out? And what platforms? I have no access to a gaming quality PC. I can't wait to finish Uni and be working so I can buy a awesome computer and play all the games I'm missing out on.

All we can judge you by is, your avatar, your signature and the way you type. You can do as you please, but people will comment on your shit typing.

From what I've read, noob tubes require a much more direct hit to kill, like splash damage doesn't kill so easily. And I play Hardcore, so that's why I prefer CoD, shooting someone 3 times in the chest should kill them, not let them scamper away.

MW3 MP Vid I dunno how to embed videos because I am queer.

"Hey, that guy is stealing that woman's handbag." "Don't get involved, it's between those two." Nice moves bro.

How dare you! Dude's a fanny. If you post somewhere publicly you've gotta be able to take the rough with the smooth. And haha. Haha. Ha... Haha. Ha.

I'm in the 2% of the cool people. Oooooh yeah. I love it, 24s have brought me back to, there's something about the riding that just seems so much more appealing than TGS.
