  8. that made me interested can i run 22:17 with 360 cs? how much are the lenghts for 22:17?
  9. was the same with the marzocchi dj 3 from 2003.the rebound pistons head popped off due to a step in it. they tapered that area, voila, didnt break anymore!
  10. to prevent flex marino builds double/triple seattube frames,if ordered..theyre effing stiff! in peru, chile etc its pretty normal to see his frames in comps
  11. mountain goat does make a 20t chainwheel,64 bcd, you´d have to modify the crank with a file though,i think http://www.mountain-...n&products_id=9 and get the steel one!
  12. tryall yourself replica,10euros...wow
  13. that camera lense makes every obstacle look huuuge.....oh wait!
  14. at 1.30 you pinch flat´ed,right?
  15. you can get the right length every 1/2" :wink2: ,so you´d have to tell a basic cs length from wich someone could tell you.24,26,20?straight or angled dropouts?etc..
  16. it was +25 with my ns fundamental forks(frame was based on the ns holy with much more bb rise and shorter cs.) i built it around that times.built in another fork for using front brake, turned out like this... as this discussion made me curious about it i drawed my bike together with the fork it has now. its obvious it has got little to no backwheel ability,so i am going for the cuy frame, wich marino and me talked over the last time. its based heavily on an old fourplay with 380/+35/1035/73°,we tweaked the geo to get somewhere in a trialsy direction, keeping minimal street ability. thats my style of riding,i am no tgs´er,nor a flowy street rider,i am me! it will suit my needs perfectly,i think.
  17. haha just realized how my actual bikes geo comes out with the tuf guy forks...this is how my bikes right now. honoured to see youre on the way to my geo
  18. i´d guess that youre not standing on your bike without tyres on,so i´d say theres pretty much no force applied to the system rim-brake-frame... tyres are rotating mass, too, explaining why theres a diference.
