  1. syntace VRO T-stem in medium, vector lowrider 740mm handlebars with 12° backsweep. damn good stuff
  2. lol more bailing then sorted moves.what a teaser
  3. right, but 2mm here or there is to be compensated with different nipples
  4. why dont you measure it from side to side(on the inside) and add the wall thickness x 2? just a thought from a bike mechanic...
  5. exactly first tries resulted in banana-shaped toptubes,i dont know if he solved this...for a fork its nearly necessary, but a frame doesnt need it really
  6. thought that at first, too.but then i was stunned by the story of the 15000km trip.told him that his chains worn down and he sure will have to change it before london btw,so if he´ll write to his blog that his chain snapped:i told him.. no,really my full respect for what hes doing with the age of 70(!!!).i think due of riding trials i would be lucky if i can still walk wit 70yrs lol
  7. on friday 2 guys came into my workshop and asked me to change a tube on the rear wheel on the younger ones bike.they told me they come from malaysia and wanna go to london for the olympics.WOW 15000km! i changed the tube and charged nothing,i felt kind of honoured to meet them. at home i googled those guys: http://oadnanxtreme.blogspot.de/ amazing,i shaked adnan osmans hand.this guy is 70 years old and went about 14000km ON HIS BIKE before he came to my workshop and then he went on to london. awesome experience i wanted to share with you. nice 2 guys, too sad i didnt recognize them at this moment, would have been cool to listen their story a bit more. greets
  8. yeah, and have fun or not depending on the temperature outside... to stay serious:with a rhyno it´ll work, with anything less then 28mm probably not, my experience
  9. have them, too.it looks like they shift the slaves 3 mm in each side.turned to the outside theres about 8 mm edit:but it works on a marino with 90 mm mount spacing and a rhyno lite.if that helps
  10. i recently was in contact with him and he told me he´s got loads of orders and is in huge delay with everything. just write him another email.greetings to him from me,peter.he´ll know.
  11. ...If one had both trailing spokes on the outside of the hub then presumably this wouldn't happen? exactly.
  12. my frame is pretty much a skye geo. it literally bunnyhop 360s on the spot, but its backwheel move abilitys are damn limited. yeah, think about geo, mate!
  13. or forks with uncut steerer... i cant make my frontend much longer, skye geo with shorter rear end means the front is already pretty long. should re-think my view of stacker towers,i think (A)
  14. if i roll the bars back my bike doesnt feel trialsy enough.i come from dirt jump/street riding and never had problems with that,so you could be right with that luke. my injury affects the discus radiocarpalis,a little fibrocartilage between the ulnar head and the medial wrist bones. should i go for a longer stem and roll´em back? my brakes point pretty much to the floor right now, helped a bit. elbows out = doesnt feel right. i will not quit riding till i die so a solution is needed...lol edit:bike has pretty much skye geo,but 365 chainstays.if that helps ergonomy-wise
  15. just wondered about if anyone here had wrist injuries and saved himself some pain by changing his/her cockpit to another setup.if theres any way to get less pain from another setup i would change stem bars and so on.but not if theres no way. advice welcome... setup so far:stem 100x25°,bars 50mm rise up 10° back 5°,ground height 1010mm thanks
  16. i never got a spoke tensioner to work for myself. i used a cut and doubled used sawblade from a metal saw in our workshop and some teflon to glide on. 74 kingz like, but ziptied to the chainstay. edit:i´d REALLY like to try those rollrings, check out roll-ring.com.awesome but expensive for just a rubber chainring. cheers
