  1. amazing riding and nice soundtrack.but i dont get this "pulley- AND-spoke-tensioner" thing, especially on such a professional bike. no rohloff available?such a nice thing when spaced to fat chains. edit:ahhh seen its on an onza or something.why, though?
  2. are you gonna sell one of those to me when finished?i supported marino wit many of his problems bending fork tubes, maybe youll have one or another thing i can help with if this thread is gonna be lasting a while
  3. watched that and have to ask: why not an inspired geo frame with a longer toptube, maybe even a longer fork to gain height(marino will make it the same headangle),and 120 headtube with a few stackers?thats the only thing i see thats got need for corrections geowise. i did the same, ordered a frame with 1000/+25/71,5°(pure street frame at this time) and built in a trials fork as i got sick of the high frontend. now its got 1000/+20/73,5° and rides great for me. if you go for a maybe 435mm street fork it could be more comfy for you,and cause its custom you can take the headangle into account until its built
  4. how tall are you?for 170 to 180 cm go for something like 1020 wheelbase/73 headangle/+35bb,for 180+ go for something like 1040 wb/73headangle/+45 bb-thats awesome for street riding. get a seattube as short as possible for maximum clearance,i.e. 210 to 240 mm.mine has 1000 wb/73hta/+25 bb and it feels a little bit too short for me,i am 181 cm tall . chainstays as short as possible, like 365mm just my 2 cents edit;you wouldnt even have dreamed of what massive difference a 140 headtube makes to a 120 one... get a 120 one and fill 20 mm with stackers
  5. there are no pros and cons at all.all angles and the trail factor are the same.only the area of maximum bending momentum is in another place.curved ones have this in the upper bend, straight ones at the crown welds.but thats equalized by the different tube diameters in that areas. ergo:it just looks better to have straight ones, and it has REALLY MINIMAL pros on the vibration thing for curved ones. info from tange.
  6. thats what i ment.do you (all) think it affects the riding good or bad to up/drop/spin in opposite direction the feet are(if it makes any sense)?
  7. looks like freiburg.and its called braunschweig.lol#
  8. i think its interesting how this forward foot thing mixes with your favourite spinning direction. i for example have right foot fwd and spin to the left, wich is not right regarding what most pros say. hows yours? edit:left hand archer as well...
  9. does that stuff really "spring" when preloading? $$$ of the frame??? hey my marino has 3 after itself....not bad anyway
  10. gut gemacht.triton rules
  11. seen a few vids of gerard trueba, very talented kid.
  12. sorry for doing this mega-bump but bar height is actually an interesting topic for me as my new frame and forks will have another setup. for now i got a +20 bb,1010 bars(675mm difference) edit:reach of 645mm doesnt the frames reach take massive influence about those measures, like a "theoretical" tt of 590 will give more stretched feeling as a 560 tt,taking bar height out of the calculation? the new frame has about 10mm more reach think theres room for further discussions, and the poll needs more factors to be accurate. e viva el post!
  13. i imagine a wrestler standing on his trials bike backwheelhopping on the corner of the ring, gapping down to a massive elbow drop at his opponent. maybe next video? lol
  14. seen that on mtb-news.de,our local forums, yesterday.awesome as every gorez vid, very powerful soundtrack as well. good watch edit:and there was 1 beer in it
  15. stylish. not that massive riding focused as your recent videos, but dermaßen geiles gesamtpaket,as a german would say... in english i would say very nice package at all.
  16. chains are measured in max load by 7 links and the 3pc link.i.e. 7R8 chain, max load 12500N,the chain takes about 14000N if joined.its weaker in fact.(got that info from wippermann)
