  1. just when you think "for hydraulic rim brakes all hope is gone",theres hope.
  2. sorry, didnt know about your health problems.get well mate!
  3. sometimes its just a bad pairing of tolerances, say like your bars are a little too small and the clamp a little too big at the same time. we are talking about 0.08mm or something,if both have such a big difference its the worst case if you insist in using the same stem i´d be trying a set of bars which are known for being a tight fit. sorry to give you that info without remembering bars that are,but i am sure here are plenty of people knowing something
  4. thought that too,but i ground the parts off with piston inserted. however, got a brand new one now
  5. i never had a single problem with any of my 05 levers,no cracking nor leaking, actually i made mine leak recently by cutting the critical edge everyone kept telling me about off and polishing the lever body lol. no idea how, theres no visible scratch or something. that aside i am sure my new 05 lever will perform the same, best design imo. a lot of people seem to love their 04,but theyre not for me,i just dont like the shape
  6. one thing the folks at magenwirth company in bad urach can take into account when designing their next brake is "go back to 2009 and then never change a running system"
  7. thats what i was wondering, too. sorry, but isnt being a sponsored rider about throwing up a vid every now and again? get your cam out and your bike under your feet, andre
  8. 22:17,same development in meters though edit:just re-read and seen the word "echo",never mind
  9. its sitting in the shed ,still fully packaged waiting for parts to build it up thanks ross!
  10. not sure if i asked it before, but what was the reach?
  11. i´d highly recommend using the 2005-2009 magura hs33,or if moneys not an issue the racingline brakes. some guys are going seriously big with v-brakes though. preference that.
  12. on alu frames, yes. on my marinos always the disc caliper/adapter itself snapped.so its shimanos fault lol
  13. unless its a street bike, disc brakes tend to destroy disc mounts on bikes with wheelsizes above 20". just my opinion and experience,i weigh 90+kg,so others may have been coming away with it.
  14. no disc for the back. can of worms opened.
  15. to be honest i always use cheapo-shoes for riding,as they get beaten up and teared apart anyways-my good shoes are for work (standing all day long) i am only working and riding though hahaha
  16. 145x25 for a bit more backwheel control.
  17. very cool riding, and as a bonus its containing nearly every coust spot from all their vids.thanks!
  18. who would´ve thought someone would look for a 20 bucks cam for shooting action vids haha
  19. panasonic hcv100 over here.nice 1080i cam, unfortunately no other modes like 720p and stuff.but a good stabilizer and immense low light capabilities. costs around 180 euros here.classic camcorder shape though

massive riding, thanks for posting it! seen the "raiffeisen bank" in the background of a few clips, were they shot in germany or do you have raiffeisen banks over there?
  21. nice! http://vimeo.com/88533422
  22. thats just brilliant,no fatigued springs anymore. fun fact: many electric vaporizer systems use magnets in the firing switch since a decade. a magnetic freewheel system would be heavier though,no?
