the amount of nic your skin is able to suck up is way more unpredictable than vaping,just saying.lets say youre lying a lot(more of a joke to illustrate this ),your skin resistance lowers and that leads to sweating.nicotine is highly water soluble,so that´d increase the amount of nic that you consume.your skin pores are open,the stuff goes in.
thats the reason medics are still sceptical about nic patches.
oral substitution doesnt work for a similar reason,nic is double as toxic compared to inhaling when taken oral.means vaping 6-8mg ,but eating 3-4mg per kg of body weight would kill you.thats because when inhaled its resorbed after about 10 mins,when consumed cutan or oral its accumulating over time,because its always there
i´m sounding like i am defending vaping again,not the case,even smoking isnt as toxic as those patches if you put the carbon monoxide and carcinogenes aside.
