  1. i really hope for you that you meant kb/s
  2. when pads are new, ride down a hill while braking in intervals, like 2 seconds pulling the brake,5 seconds cooling. do this like 30 times, then go down the hill full speed and keep pulling the brake with increasing hand force until you are nearly stopping. repeat the last step if necessary, but remind yourself of letting the brake cool down in between if pads arent bedded in they dont touch the rotor with the full surface, like there are tiny mountains on them.you have to "grind" down those imperfections to get the full braking surface
  3. not bedded in properly and the pads went glassy. sand the pads until theyre matte texture,re-bed them in should have a shiny surface now
  4. we are western europeans,if someone didnt flush after taking a sh*t its more pripyatish to us than you can imagine
  5. reminds me of s.t.a.l.k.e.r.-call of pripyat
  6. crazy. got 3.15" risers and theyre already massive in height
  7. compared to a wheelchair of a bike,a p series dj bike.lol my bike also feels way more leaned forwards than on my previous dj bikes, but isnt that kind of what defines a trials geo?
  8. it just melted away today,we have 0 deg here exactly and i see massive problems:i am totally out of shape, way too much eating, way too less riding the last weeks
  9. do i look comfortable on the rear wheel?
  10. i think your already talking about either an arcade or an archive then
  11. anyone fancy a custom geo and cant decide?got loads of spare time atm,and can make a drawing for you you,and/or you!

  12. anyone fancy a custom geo and cant decide?

  13. i could be wrong, but shouldnt you keep the cams and just clamp the tensioner plate between them and the frame?
  14. first part reminded me of "california games" on my old commodore c64 hahaha second part was just crazy
  15. man ,this post was pure art! exactly how it is imo edit:and that thread was actually his,too
  16. since i was 3 normal bikes, since 2003 dirt, then street, next year is my 4th in street trials. but i think it doesnt matter how long you ride, its like truing wheels, some see a buckle in the wheel if its just a 10th of a mm,some hear it when hitting the spokes nah,i am not a prodigy or something, but i noticed the bike being less bunnyhoppable really
  17. not sure if i´d run into a conversation with a girl other than my wife regarding trials, but the question "you ride a bmx?" would provoke the answer "i´m married, sorry" even if i wasnt married
  18. thats not reserved for ultra pros i think.i once adjusted my rear wheel to around 6-7mm longer chainstays, and it was noticeable right away.and the difference was big,as in"learn how to pop the bike up"again
  19. argh, why not:http://www.bristollambretta.com/mixtureadjustment.htm (same process for all floater carbs basically) http://www.dellorto.co.uk/images/parts/PHBH_l.pdf (exploded view,a rubber seal mounted the wrong way round can make all the difference)
  20. well,we had that in the apprenticeship, but in my business life i had the main focus on bicycles, hence not being deep into motors. in theory you could increase the idle air supply or lower the valve needle. is it what you brits would call a koppers-carb or a normal with floater? if it was in the richest setting because of dirt inside(only readjusted to continue riding) it maybe has to be adjusted new from scratch, now that its clean.
  21. erm...bicycle trials...cough cough edit:onzatpro09 on here owns a moto trials bike afaik, maybe he can be of some help though
