  1. we´ll see.but good point though if i remember right there were even differences in the frames, just cant remember where i read it
  2. that was kind of surreal, did they increase the distances and heights afterwards while editing? cant imagine how most of this stuff is possible in reality
  3. i think in the end it will be like with the fourplays:first there was just the fourplay, then pro and team. there will be an arcade pro and a team,i think.(or whatever theyll call them) i thought that while thinking about why a couple of the proto rider had different specs, wouldnt make sense otherwise imo.
  4. you could raw it and seal all threads temporarely, then give it to someone who anodizes it in a fancy colour. heard anodizing/galvanics in generall are pretty cheap in russia
  5. a certain geo rides like it rides due to the numbers. yes,if you rode a few bikes you could predict how it rides to a certain point.but mainly from experience whats the point of that? just want to know that out of interest, until now i´ve seen every trials frame i own(ed) in person way after it was a certain geo by numbers,so i do it the other way round i think: -determine a geo -turns out it rides like it was calculated edit:was i supposed to answer, not being a very skilled rider ?
  6. i said that because in a standardized din test those values in the diagram would speak for my assumption of 22"/160 etc, which just shows how far off their test results are compared to a din test, which(maybe it just feels like that for me)is kind of backing my point up. din en does bedding in like they did,but the rest of the test is completely different in braking/cooling intervals and even lever forces change during a din test, giving a diagram that shows multiple ratios of speed/handforce/temperature/deceleration. you could middle out the perfect braking behaviour from a din diagram if you´d want to exaggerate it to the max sorry for the beer thing, its awesome stuff
  7. you está claro que se trata de las personas encuentran una locura si destruyes sus cuadros de bicicleta de forma continua con la intención.
  8. take an old alu frame grind down generous amounts of it,keeping the powder take something made from steel, reaaaally corroded do the same mix both powders up fill the next frame up with that throw a sparkler in there film it
  9. sorry to say that, but wasnt this topic about brakes?
  10. i began reading all the old topics again, where everyone followed the jaf hype, heard of 3 frames cracking this year. in the meantime my old frame has changed the owner,it was over 2 years old when i posted it. makes all the posts from back in the days really funny to read, try it! edit:as someone liked this post, maybe its in fact interesting: https://www.google.de/search?q=jaf+bikes+site:www.trials-forum.co.uk&client=firefox-a&hs=nx3&rls=org.mozilla:de:official#q=jaf+bikes+marino+site:www.trials-forum.co.uk&rls=org.mozilla:de%3Aofficial
  11. one fat bump! did you change stem then btw? recent pics would be nice
  12. you expected that frame company to be successful,no? sorry, but did i say anything that could call you to the plan?: edited:didnt want to fuel peoples fire no more,i´m out.we had stuff like that way too often, was my fault too a few times, just forget it.
  13. maybe one day i´ll make it to tartydays or radfest and bring an augustiner edelstoff for mark with me. awesome stuff, could fill a tub with that and jump into it
  14. i think it was obvious that i was joking(had that (mis)assumption a few times here though) the point of the sentence was supposed to be going towards the beer solution.
  15. hardly depends on if you are the type of guy wearing tight jeans or a red bull helmet
  16. really, sparklers are prohibited in uk? in germany an 8 year old could buy them lol if i wouldve been suggesting using semtex, that´d be macgyverish to manage! termite is pretty basic stuff, just some alu and ferrum oxide(rust)
  17. as he´d do it probably on new years eve as i recommended there would be sparklers all around
  18. play something online then! preferable scorched3d,its boring on the server without human targets
  19. where was the link to that detailed review? you only quoted something stating "stock pads" i am not a normal rider, agree.i suck way more at riding than at technical stuff, maybe thats my problem. some are good riders but cant understand how a freewheel works, thats life and thanks for the very professional point on the 22" wheel thing. your polemics are master class i assumed it to be a norm-test,that means by industrial standards. what the hell did they mean what normal braking behavior is,who says what that is? thats the reason DIN-EN and other norms exist.not to "middle out a value",but to determine a certain lifespan or power for certain product. if you go by the test factors a vcbrake2 din-en test consists of,you´d be "understanding" the point of my assumtion you were so jokingly about i am not here to argue about anything(admitting to been having done that in the past sometimes, okay),but sometimes i think most of most peoples knowledge is based on "rethoric class" lessons edit:seeing most of our discussions escalate,i have the suspicion we´re not too different, would be interesting to discuss things in real life with a few beers.or 2 baseball bats, dunno really i´d take the beers despite being pretty good with bats
  20. i understand what you mean, for john doe its enough to scratch the surface... what i meant is if they bought 2 brm 596,one with metal, one with resin pads, the brake itself had a completely different rank in that test in the both cases. as theyre available with both pads as standard its pretty easy to say the pads were standard. i hope someone understands what i meant :wink2:
