  1. looks good, is there anything you would change on the bike? how are the brakes compared to say the hope setups, think about going back to a small bike from my 24
  2. thanks guys which EBC pads are people using? the red ones
  3. after some recommendations for a set of pads for my m810 saints not sure what in there at the moment but they are not good, im on 180mm xt rotors ta
  4. just treat myself to a 24" fourplay for xmas and its running 180mm saints, its been sat a while so just bedding the brakes back in and the performance in coming back. is there much difference going to a 203 from a 180mm? ta
  5. these ones Mark? http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/24_inch_tyres/continental_danny_macaskill_air_king/c85p12544.html
  6. what are the best 24" tyres people are running for street use?
  7. i have i work for Ford and get to drive most engine and car combo's and for a daily normal car personally i wouldn't want a 1.6 petrol, maybe fine for my mum who nips to the shops or takes to dog out but there not a spritley machine and you have to flog them to get them to move in reality i would think combined mpg will be around 35-38mpg if you want to go the same pace of normal traffic, if you dont mind playing the mpg game im sure you could get into the 40's but would be painful on the plus side they are cheaper to repair and less to go wrong over a diesel car what kind of money do you want to spend?
  8. with that much money in a car though they must have a rough idea or be able to have a chat with a specialist to get them in the ball park regards there setup, i presume its the normal IRS rear end? yes john had a new engine over winter its a fair chunk quicker!
  9. that stiff at the rear! plus the arb, bizarre yes at Aintree last week i think, i was going to call in at harewood this weekend but weather was iffy
  10. not surprised with the power it has! i good friend of mine sprints in the speed series in his XE westy, john hoyle does very well with it proper rapid road legal machine 143mph last time out on the limiter 300m before the finish isnt bad for a n/a house brick with wheels!
  11. i have been looking at the sadev box that comes in the 620r gets alot better reviews than the quaife units, mega bucks though was it a 7 like car? 480kg for the s2000 engines cars is very very light as its a heavy old lump! there is a nice supercharged one doing the speed series at the moment
  12. fiesta is a good shout, quite sure you could get a bike in there with just the front wheel off, i get my 20 in without taking any wheels off dan this one i suppose its how much hassle you want to go through, my daily is a lotus and i get my bike in there, but need to put the forks and bars back on at the other end it takes about 3 minutes so its not that bad really
  13. I wouldn't buy a 1.6 100ps focus, it's not a light car and the engine struggles sometimes, the later focus has a 120ps vct 1.6 if you do want a petrol that has a little more grunt 1.6 diesel is good in the 04 onwards, need oil changes every 6k to stop turbo issues and injector seals fail but there good for well into the 50mpg Saab engines and ecu are very tuneable no need for aftermarket if you can retain the oem ecu Powerwise, you can never have enough, it's only goes as fast as you press the pedal I have around 620bhp per ton through the rear wheels and have no issues just a large smile
  14. I can ride those areas evening time though after work
  15. Awesome, thought my old camper was old enough!
