  1. The one you made this topic about, which was the crack.Photos will help but I reckon it might be just a bit of pressure from the clamp has caused a crack in the resin
  2. Where is this located? In the clamp area or elsewhere?
  3. Their is a layer of protective resin or similar on top of the carbon, and that is pretty flakey, but it doesn't affect the structure of the actual carbon fibre. If you've gouged out a chunk, then you might be a bit out of pocket
  4. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.c...ed/u1P4FKih5TQ" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> This is pretty messed up
  5. Tarty just added the new Echo Pure, Trial and Lite frames to their website The Pure-http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/26_inch_frames/echo_pure_2013_with_ti_bb/c14p11918.html The Trial-http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/24_inch_frames/echo_trial_2013_with_bb/c70p11919.html The Lite-http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/20_inch_frames/echo_lite_2013_with_bb/c36p11916.html What do ye think? Personally I love the new finishes
  6. Nah Lads, step aside. It'll be nice having an older bird:)
  7. She does ride better than almost every girl I've seen ride a trials bike.
  8. I removed my BB today as it was very wobbly, and Upon removing it, I found the culprit for the wobblyness. It seems the axle moves side to side and back and forth. I thought originally it was the BB cups, but now I think it may be the entire BB. The bearing are fine, no roughness or unrounded, and when I spin the axle they moved normally. So, what should I do. New BB? PS it's a First ISIS
  9. The chances of you crushing a bar while tightening the bolts is very small, unless instead of carbon they're made of glass. Use a bit of assembly compound if you want, but it's not necessary.
  10. Get a few tough pallets, about 10, and create a simple obstacle and few platforms to develop your creativity. If I had a stack of 5 pallets, I go through my repertoire of going up it very quickly, so then I go on to doing it at different angles and trying from further away, in the case of sidehops and things like that. It kind of trains you to think about a simple slab in loads of different ways. I'm so used to riding in my garden that when I go to the local uni to ride, I can see fifteen lines in one spot. It's also good for fitness, because if you peel it back to basics, you can't cheat when doing stuff on square obstacles, so you start to get better quicker. This is just in my experience though, so try whatever you feel helps you progress and enjoy your riding
  11. it's better for me if I'm on my own. I struggle with easy things when someone I know is watching. If I was going to do a gap in my garden or do a sidehop, and I spotted my dad watching me, I fail or hurry it so much I don't enjoy the feeling of getting it. So a bit of music and no one watching is the best I can get.
  12. I have a standard rohloff speedhub tensioner, which won't take a big chain like the KMC Kool k710. So I need to know what to do to make it fit in. I've seen a few topics where people mention doing this to their tensioner, but I couldn't follow the instructions. So does anyone have any advice, like what tools I would need, what spacers and such? Any help would be aprreciated
  13. Nope, I'll fully admit you're right. Just don't want to be posting shit topics, and have them take up space. I had a bad idea, and have abandoned it. I'm just gonna try to get a camera through non-crowdfunding means and be on my way.
  14. Eventually, they limit you a huge amount.
  15. Get a new bike, phases are shit. Unless you're super skilled there are better frames to be had
  16. Probably the FB thing. Some people, myself included, prefer to do deals through the forum, so there's no need for the unwanted status updates from a person who you don't know.
  17. I'm also interested in a Sky 2. Sexy bikes, them.
  18. Joe's is relatively the biggest.
  19. Jacks back on a Sky 2 again, I think. Shame, it would be nice to have diversity from the regular Koxx monopoly on the comps.
