  1. Solved it. It took a couple of attempts, I think the problem was I was too eager to get the brakes back on and 1st time didn't tighten up the bleed bolt proper. Now they're a million times better and I can finally use them.
  2. Anyway I tried to bleed my brakes this afternoon. I thought all was going well, I followed the video to a tea. Fitted to my bike and it hasn't worked. The level moves all the way down, even when the pads are almost touching. Now I know this means there must be air in the system still. I've removed them and bled them again, also checking for leaks. There is no air coming out of any of the lines, or unions or any of the bleeding points. Does anyone have any Ideas?
  3. I've already got a syringe, it came with a avid bleed kit so that's no problem. I think they're water already, but I'm not 100% sure. I'll give it a go one night this week.
  4. My zoot had magura hs33 brakes fitted when I bought it. Now I haven't bled it the brakes since I got the bike over a year ago because I don't know how to. Pure lazy I know! Anyways my problem is the fronts don't retract fully when the lever is released. One doesn't even move. Would bleeding them solve the problem or could it be something else. Also the twisty red bit has rounded off inside and doesn't actually adjust anymore. Can I get hold of a metal replacement?
  5. Just been out for a good ride. The new stem has worked a treat. I can now get on and stay on the back wheel for longer. All I did was roll the bars forward 10degrees.
  6. I have troy lee design ODI lock on's fell off loads, also run them on my MTB for the last 2 years (used at least twice a week), never ripped and excellent grip too
  7. Thats my next step, I'm going to give this a go first. Just rolled them forwards a bit. hope that'll help.
  8. I have a zoot seatless and it felt so unnatural to ride, replaced the stem with a 90mm 35 degree rise and it already feels better. Only changed it today and have been out for about an hour but it still feels much better
  9. I think I have started on the hardest bike ever to ride. I can manage to get the bike up onto the rear easier and can even Get it on the front wheel and balance better. It's a step in the right direction
  10. Yeah standard zoot. I've got 3 stackers on but I could fit another slim one on if needed.
  11. The new stem arrived today. Will be fitting it in a few mins. Hopefully will make the bike easier to ride. If it doesn't, what would people recommend? High rise bars?
  12. Completely forgot about this thread, I have just ordered a 90mm 35 degree stem. I rode a mates bike with a very similar set up and I found it much better to ride.
  13. Cheers mate, I'm just going off getting my bar diameter then will get one ordered.
  14. He guys, I am trying to ride my '09 Onza Zoot, but I can't. I feel like I am about to fall over the handlebars everytime I ride. I struggle to do hops, manuals and many other simple tricks. The whole bike feels so cramped. I am just wondering if anyone else has a zoot and what size, degree of lift stems you use. Mine came fitted with a 50mm with a 7degree lift.
  15. I'm terrible to be honest. Will give you a shout in a couple of weeks.
