    The Spot - JamesB

love the style, great little edit
  5. with you height 24" or 26" shouldn't matter to much. im 189cm on a 24" and it fit nicely.. Inspired is good quality, no issues there... And 40+ is the right side 40- is the wrong side(getting to the right side soon)... And welcome back
  6. sporttape and some vans halfcap or similar...If you have a "loose" ankel stick with real support and keep up rehab when not rideing. Otherwise you will just roll it again and again and again.....
  7. Hi welcome to the sport, 41 is the perfect age...i think 26" would be best given you background... The Hex is an excellent suggestion. Love rideing mine, but are on the arcade now...
  8. great skill level, great edit, love the kinda style of riding....keep it up
  9. Hi from one arcade owner to a comming arcade/console owner... 1. it doesnt feel heavy at all (even though its approx 12kg.) 2. its just awsome for all round riding(street, park and trials(but not as great as a 26" pure, especialy rolling stuf)) (but i do come from a bmx back ground). But for the type of riding you describe it should be spot on.. 3. i find there is a lot of room when on the bike and im 191cm, running 35deg/70mm stem and 3" riser bars... 4. NOT having a hanger is perfect no more fiddeling with chain tensioner, the chain device on the arcade works flawless (Set and go, my wheel has stayed in the same position for ½ a year) 5. currently running 22/16 gearing feels good on the bike... just my 2 cents..
  10. im running a bb7 with gyro on my DJ, works great..Just like the hold/bit/feel of my saint on the trails bike better...
  11. Brilliant, even for a French )...Loved the style, "simple" lines riden in a playfull way, with speed and alot of bike control....keep it up...

    cranks?

They are not broken, just bend a lot and pedal theads are pointing downwards. Makes pedalling weird... just normal riding trials, street and park..

    cranks?

Hi my saints m810 has given up on me....so im looking for new ones, was wondering how the new inspired cranks are holding up? Was thinking primo bmx crank (used to boomb proof). Any other ones out there worth buying?
  15. I love streching, it allows me to move my body ;-)....I find it that the more flexible you are the less prone to injuries you are...in the end just ride the damn thing and have fun...
  16. 38 year old, i swing the arms a lot(my shoulders are killing me) some squarts and small jump...some light balancing stuff, a few small jumps and a little streching and im good to go. Proberly 5-10min...then increase the riding level, and after 30min its on....

    Swint? Or Slude?

    Top notch riding....
  18. its "freestyle" eveything counts.. That park looks rad just added it to my to do list in the UK. Great edit
  19. which one has you used tried ? Ive heard they leak, just never found a person who has actually ridden them. i run a bb7 with cable gyro on my DJ feels okay...But not as great as hydraulic. ps. taps can be mountes with a 3,3mm drill and a 4mm tap, done it to a few frames now...
  20. Hi just wanted to know if anybody runs a gyro on their rearbrake on a streettrial play-things? Thinking either bb7 with bmx cable gyro, or a hydraulic one (think there is one called "trix") ? just wondering about hold, modulatiry and durability... thanks /stefan

    4 bolt cranks

Hi i have and is running Saint M810 (works flawless for 3 years) has been running SLX(No problem). the only thing is the External BB ive went through quite a few of these (The cheap doere/XT/XTR close to 20£) they develop play rather quick. now im on a nukeproof bb with seal stainless bearings has been running it for a while and it seems to hold up better, same price around 20-25£. if you get the saint in 83mm there is more room for the chainring, (ive had troubles with my Hex frame) you just need some extra washers (from memory they are 24mm inside (not 100% sure on it)) The newer saint may not have holes for the 22t ring only middel size (but a drill and a tap and it should work)
  23. great riding lads...I love those rock lines...
