  1. We have to take my cat to the vets tomorrow, angry because it's hassle, expensive and I hope the poor kitty is ok
  2. Want to hear two interest facts about me? 1. I'm banned from argos 2. My cock is the same length as an argos pen
  3. Ah that sucks, sorry to hear. Mine is for a pretty prestigious and successful recruitment company working as a junior resourcer
  4. Oh right, yeah I read somewhere that although they are accurate, they are not necessarily indicative of job performance. Out of interest, what roles did you have them for?
  5. Hey guys so I recently had an interview with this company and as part of their final process I had to complete a PPA (some kind of psychometric test) and something called a Mcquaig which vaguely resembles an IQ test, I was jut wondering if anyone else has ever had to do this?
  6. I love how they describe it 'A modern take on classic arcade games' - Nope, it's not a modern take, it looks shabby, has been done before too many times and hopefully will never make it.
  7. I dunno about the two different frames, or specifically the 2010 model but I just bought a 2012 Zoot and am pretty happy with it. Personally if your looking at pure trials I wouldn't recommend it but if you are going to go more down the streety road then it's a decent bike to learn on, just needs a few changes to make it perfect but it's very ride-able with out them
  8. Ouch man, even most of the flavoured ones taste like crap! The worst flavour I've had is grape flavoured creatine which was absolutely rank.
  9. Who likes short shorts? Definitely not bloody me. I'll stick to skinnies thanks, all year round.
  10. your friendly neighbourhood sports scientist In all honesty, glad to help though. Onwards and upwards, to infinity and beyond!
  11. Typical bloody teenager. Where's the fruit and veg at?
  12. I'm definitely going to invest in a new fw, purely because this model has the 30click one - which isn't too bad for streety stuff but it's really annoying for the trials moves. As for BB, cranks and pedals, BB is a possibility but not until I have forks, stem and a new chain (I snapped a link the other day so had to move the rear wheel forward to accommodate for the shorter chain). Cranks is more of an aesthetic choice really, I don't mind these ones and finally pedals; I will change them to some lighter and grippier platforms, not a fan of cages to be honest
  13. You won't need a shake for during, only after mate. During is a waste of time, better to drink water or squash (yes I highly recommend squash, all the time, EVERYTIME ) Reflex make some good shakes, as do PhD but they are both expensive. Just look for one with low calories, high protein (around 60-80g per serving) and low fat. Pure whey should have all that you need. Unless of course you eat a crap diet in which case you may want to add some of the extra calories and make sure you get your 5 a day
  14. Just like the white, think they look cleaner and set the colours off I guess Haha shush Jake, Only 'cus yours is sub 9kg! If I get echo urbans and a system ex stem I can knock off another ~800g, that with the ~300g I saved on the bars and then it's just under 10kg. I wouldn't want it any lighter
  15. So here it is, pretty much still standard at the moment because only just starting and not had it long. Will probably spray it after winter because quite frankly, the onza graphics are crap
  16. Howcome? By the way, not questioning your preference, was just wondering why you thought so Cheers
  17. Looks horrible. a 'stock street' is just a bad idea.
  18. Oh right sweet, post some pics and let us know how the first ride goes!
  19. One of the best videos I've seen to be honest. Loved the Bon Iver influence as well, made the whole thing chilled out and 'intimate'
  20. Well, I've never done a negatively marked MCQ (multiple choice questionnaire) but I'd leave all the ones you are not sure about to the end. Focus on the ones you definitely know first. As for the guessing part, unless you have to answer ALL questions (which is typical of an MCQ) then it might be best to not guess and just leave it blank if you are allowed to, that way you won't lose marks. You should also revise, that's pretty key to exams haha. As for guessing, there's an intelligent way to guess which basically involves finding the wrong answers. I.e instead of looking for the right answer (which as you said, is a 25% chance to guess correctly) you should look for the wrong answers. This way is usually quicker and more effective.
  21. Oh right, sounds like the grips. Yeah they are comfortable! Never tried them for trials but I can imagine them being nice
  22. The over tape? Or grips? Just because they are two different things My foams were hard at first but they are softer now (about a week and a half later) and I haven't had blisters since I've changed from rubber to foam - which is always a bonus
  23. I used to coach tennis and swore by PU super grips (but not for riding trials hahahah, I have 'thick' TT foams and they are beauts). They are fat, adhere well and last for a while. I'd stick with TT foams though, there's a reason why soo many of us use them
  24. The Americans make much better TV series (in terms of drama, sci fi and all) but I think that's probably because they have massive production value and huge endorsement. I mean really, AMC, Showtime and HBO are massive household names and they produce the best shows around (IMO). As for humour, I like to think the British humour is wittier and thus more intelligent, American humor is pretty drab; it's way tooo obvious and they spell it the punchline in such a way that can only be described as cringe-worthy. You can see that a lot of Americans who come on British TV talk shows (Graham Norton, Alan Carr and the likes) don't really understand our humour or even what we are saying most of the time. That's all my opinion and observation though, obviously we all find different things funny and if the American race want their humour blindingly obvious then good for them I guess. BUT Ours is better
  25. Most standard bars weigh 20kg anyway so it's enough to get the technique right. As for the powerball, probably not if you've joined a gym cus you probably won't use it
