  1. Yup hopefully, I did a little prayer earlier when Adam first mentioned it. Now just gotta pray the royal mail deliver them ASAP because it's actually nice weather for the weekend
  2. Sorry, probably should have said the full story. Basically, I was cycling home and felt like the pedal was wobbling a bit, so I stopped and shook the crank and then it came off. It didn't just fall off on it's own accord. Sorry, in hindsight I realise that what you and Adam are saying is a lot more likely if they fell off. My bad :/ Also, I switched over the other bolt and it held pretty well, for at least just riding around in the garden without stressing it too much.
  3. I'm getting it as well, in all honesty I thought it was my internet. Could be due to the forums server? Possibly affected by bad weather? Just hazarding a guess
  4. Just ordered some, will do that and let you know how it goes. Cheers everyone, appreciate your help
  5. Is that with the new bolts, or without? Here's the pictures anyway, just incase they help. I think the size of them will be massive but at least it should be HD. BB (looks like damage around the top right hand side but it's actually just thick grease and dirt) Front end of crank (the outside part) Back end of crank Jake that would be awesome except my BB is an ISIS, cheers anyway though buddy And yeah I definitely need to clean these **EDIT: So I took the crank bolt off from the drive side and put the left crank on and it went on fine with the driveside crank bolt. So I'm thinking that I was lucky and it's just a case of ordering new bolts, which I have now done
  6. Is there anyway to check? I can take some photos and attach them here if that will help the diagnosis? *if there's a god...please don't let my cranks be damaged*
  7. So my left crank fell off whilst riding home the other day, I'm pretty sure there is no damage to the thread on the crank or the BB (which are standard Zoot parts) but just lost the crank bolt. I was wondering if anyone knows whether they are M12 or M15? I measured up and it's about 11mm but I don't know if A; I've measured correctly or B; that's even accurate. Appreciate your help guys
  8. Well I didn't mean to be condescending but a lot of people were doing it and it was starting to become ridiculous (IMO) purely because being tall and weighing a set amount does not indicate in the slightest what your body looks like in terms of muscle composition and muscular definition. Also, what method of body analysis did you use? 8.9% is actually ok but it does really depend on your age and fitness.
  9. Yeah so basically my spotify was caining my data allowance - which it shouldn't be but that's not Orange's fault, but I was being charged £1 a day for every day I was over. Which is insanely expensive! I've literally just installed one to monitor mine now dude, called 'my data manager' in the feeble attempt to curb my ridiculous bills. Good suggestion though, if I don't like this app I'll switch to same as you
  10. It's probably is an entirely psychological problem, for example; being here for you may be exciting but at the same time you may miss your home. Try not to do any thinking when you are in bed, literally clear your mind of everything. Also, doing some basic exercise either before bed or during the day will really help you become tired and then it should be easier to sleep (deep sleep) which will make you feel more refreshed. Try that, let us know how it goes
  11. Their website says I owe £61 and that's much more likely for 2 bills if you ask me, so I think I'll pay that. Also, no thanks to 3 - my mate used them and was constantly struggling to get signals, most of the time you couldn't call him and his text's would finally come through like 3 hours later...
  12. It's a bloody con, that's really what it is. I'll ring them tomorrow, give them hell and let you know what they say
  13. Personally, I'd recommend swimming if you wanting to get into better shape. Running is ok but in all honesty, most people run with such bad technique that you're only likely to quit because of boredom or injury. Swimming and Cycling will not only provide massive boosts to your cardiovascular fitness but will also increase muscular strength as well - hence why most cyclists have tree trunk legs and most swimmers have killer upper body definition (If you don't believe me, look at Olympic swimmers and cyclists). Swimming lengths in a public pool is a really cheap way to stay in shape, you can do it all year round and it's relatively fun I guess. I'd recommend swimming freestyle with a breathing pattern of every 5 strokes, if you can't manage 5, 3 is also pretty good and much more achievable. Also, on another note to some people. Posting your height and weight does not mean you are muscular, strong or even in good shape. BMI (which is pretty much what you are posting) is the least accurate method of body analysis. I'm not trying to discourage or offend anyone, if you are happy with your body then great for you, if not then that's why they created gyms in the first place. Oh yeah, if anyone wants to ask me questions, please feel free to do so - I have a BSc in Sport and Exercise Science and to be honest, it gives me personal enjoyment to help others out as much as I can with the information that I have learnt.
  14. I'm glad it's not just me and I'm going to kick off big time tomorrow because quite frankly I can't afford to pay this, I may even check the trading standards website to see if there is anything that says they have to provide a breakdown. @Muel - I've never had a problem with 3G but I suspect that's because we are from different areas. I usually find their customer service ok, their northern which is nice cus I love a northern accent haha ;D
  15. Sorry if I've missed this, but being honest I have no where near the patience to read through 12 pages of posts (I got to page 3 and quit though, yay me) Basically, are the stickers still available?
  16. Ok, so I was wondering if anyone was with Orange (now called EE I believe) The reason for this and it's really starting to p**s me off, is that my bill is always extremely high. So I haven't paid 2 bills, but my outstanding balance is £131. The thing that really irritates me is the lack of information available on how it managed to get so high. I have unlimited texts and 950 minutes (which is more than adequate for me, I never go over) yet somehow, my bill is always over the £35 per month which my contract is supposed to be. If there was visible information such as a bill breakdown, then I could see why and how it is that high, but seeing as there isn't and it's been like this now since I've had my phone. I'm getting fed up with such expensive bills, even though I am well within my data limits. Anything happen like this to you? Also, if anyone works for Orange and your a member on here - please oh please explain this to me in depth, because quite frankly, your service in this respect, is just a con.
  17. crank came off, yay for my zoot

  18. No worries! I won't be heading there till after the new year at this rate (cash flow problems haha). What bike have you got btw?
  19. Yeah I liked it, thought it was nice to have quite a few different styles in there. Also, what's that song? It's pretty good
  20. Hey dude welcome, I was in Colchester at the uni for 3 years but have just left. I still visit every now and again, I've only just started trials myself but I'm keen to ride around there so will let you know when I'm around
  21. Ah ok, out of interest how big is the warehouse? And I if you wouldn't mind telling me what it costs you per month, I'd be most appreciative!
  22. Unfortunately it's too far for me to get too but I really support the idea. I'm not sure about the lawyer thing though, I would make everyone sign injury waiver forms on admission each time. It's something that Dan (dannytrialskid) and I have been looking into *although admittedly, he's done most of the work and I've just jumped on to support him*. As for prices, I would recommend you carefully work out how much the venue is going to cost you (per month is probably easiest) and then charge membership from there. I was thinking about this if we manage to get one open; basically having keyholders who pay a set monthly fee to keep the place open, whilst being responsible for it and obviously having access anytime they like, then day rates for people who are out of the area but looking for somewhere different to ride, their money can go towards helping keep it open but also further upgrades. That's just an idea, it needs to be more thought through but that's somewhat along the lines of how I'd do it. You should also look at government/local council grants if you plan to open it to the public, they might be able to help with the cost of the place. Anyway mate, wish you the best of luck!
  23. I have white TT high risers, they look awesome. Can't say I have anything to match other than rim tape
  24. I'm with bikeperson45 on this, I'm not sure how much legwork dan has done but I think we're riding tomorrow so will speak to him about it then. I was looking at warehouses the other day and they can vary but cheapest for around 1000sqft is about £10k a year. Also, I reckon there would be funding from government available, so I will have a look. Cheers for your input though guys
  25. I imagine it would be, no council is ever going to want to feel inferior to another. Especially if a trials park proves to be a success
