  1. So I think my zoot has a bb of 30, which I take it makes the reach quite 'long'? Is this why people recommend having a smaller stem (been recommended 90x25 or 90x35)? Sorry to pester you, I just find geo's hard to grasp haha
  2. Might as well add mine - not the best angle I know, I'll add another soon enough. Zoot with TT high risers and TT thick foams
  3. Yeah me and Dan and maybe a few other riders will head down there soon enough, I'll help offer to build it and design it and I'm sure the other local riders will too. You are right though Liam, we need to just keep pestering them. Would be amazing if we could get an indoor space, or even outdoors with a dome
  4. I like this idea, would make finding stuff for your bike much easier IMO. Maybe that's because I ride a 24" and have to open up some topics to see what they are selling and whether it would work. I also think a mod should review posts before, might help cut down on the dodgy sellers as well i.e if a mod knows they are 'dodgy' they can post beneath the seller something like 'this user has a bad/below average reputation, buy at your own risk, paypal should be used..blahh'
  5. I'd so be up for riding IoW to be honest! Unfortunately, probably not until next summer, or at least when the day's start getting longer again
  6. If Jake passes his driving test, we can all chip in and rent a van and head up there haha
  7. Was just wondering how big (in sq ft, please) the indoor space is? Cheers mate, it does look nice btw
  8. Why are they all wearing motorcross suits? If they are going that far, they might as well wear helmets
  9. Let us know how it goes dude, I'm sure you can get lottery funding or some type of access to sport funds to help partially cover the costs of this
  10. If they've been ignoring you for a little while I definitely would pay them a visit. They easily get sidetracked and I think persistence is the only way to show them we are serious. Plus if we mention Splash point will stop getting dents in it's rocks, they will definitely be game! haha
  11. Well as long as it isn't battering it down (like most days recently) then I'm definitely on board for more riding. I thought sunday was decent, I picked up quite a lot from you guys
  12. I think you should! Haha, on a side note Dan - I was just looking at warehouses to rent. £10k a year is the cheapest...pretty sure we could get most of it covered by the local council and some access to sport grants/funds. Might be worth looking into to be honest
  13. Yes they are well marketed and somewhat well made. If you can find any other portable devices offering a higher bit rate and better clarity then by all means suggest it, because quite frankly any product by apple doesn't come anywhere near. I think everyone clearly has just jumped on the 'lets hate against the guy with beats bandwagon' - you all need to chill the f**k out. If you all re read my original post, I don't even suggest beats, I simply say that I use them. Also, I've never claimed they are the best (defining best by sound clarity and quality) headphones available and infact I have at one point said 'you get what you pay for'. I have also admitted that at some frequencies, they are poor. So before you all say shit like 'your opinion is invalid/void' or whatever, try finding a portable setup that offers better sound quality for under 280 (I'd add the phone onto the cost, but I got it on contract). I'm not even going to bother posting on this topic again because what I have said at the start has been so construed that there is literally no point. I'll think twice before offering an opinion next time.
  14. Thanks for your constructive criticism.
  15. Well I've DJed and produced music with them and found them fine. I should add that my set up is portable, and in that respect, my set up is better than other speakers and/or headphones. If you play music from an iPod even with 'better headphones' - it still doesn't sound as good, from my experience. That's what I was trying to say, probably should have made the effort last time.
  16. Have you ever tried a beats phone, with spotify premium (every song is 320KBPS)? I highly doubt it. Therefore your opinion is void =) Not being funny but my set up beats (no pun intended) most headphones or speakers
  17. Sounds like really bad luck, if you only forked out the money on the studio's then you might have been better off, no offense. Saying this, I have HD Studios with a Dre Beats phone (HTC Sensation XE) so my music always sounds crisp - yes I have bought into the brand and I don't regret it
  18. I can see what you mean, I will admit some indie music doesn't sound too good through it because of all the guitars and all. But for anything else, mine hit the spot. There is a massive difference in which pair you buy though, the smaller ones are awful and lack any sense of quality at all. I've never tried them for mixing but I've DJed a few sets with them and I prefer it
  19. Those pioneers are decent, I'm 85% sure they're the pair my mate have and they are good. I have some studio HD beats but they are out off the price range, plus they have a bad middle range but on the plus side, awesome bass. My general rule for headphones is you get what you pay for. I've also been told that Shure's SRH840 are extremely good, and value for money too. If you're after earphones, ACS T15 (universal fit monitors) are a good shout. In all honesty though, I don't think you can go wrong with Bose, Pioneer or Sennheiser Which pair did you buy? Same question goes to you too. Purely because most people who hate Beats buy the cheapest pair expecting they are going to be amazing, when you clearly get what you pay for.
  20. Some bird I know is on the Xmas special and apparently she kisses Keith Lemon...I know this because I got a text from a number that isn't saved. Which means at one point she was my booty call. I still haven't worked out or remembered her name yet
  21. If it takes some sort of sacrifice to make the weather nice tomorrow, I'm prepared to do it to please the weather gods

    1. Revolver

      Revolver

How do you know that suggesting that won't offend them? They might be pacifists.
