  1. What would you be using them for? I've done a lot of research on these in terms of biomechanics, running speed and how ergonomic they are
  2. I bought some TT highrisers (in white, cus they definitely look the coolest) and can say that they are awesome, especially if you're slightly taller like me - they really suit 24's as well
  3. I used to swear by DCs and Etnies when I skated and bmx'ed, Never thought about using them as trials shoes though. Might have a look for a pair when I'm next in town
  4. I'll pass on these as not my size, plus I'm a hightop addict ;D Also adidas shoes seem to come up a size or so smaller so definitely won't fit. Thanks anyway though
  5. I shall look into this, but thanks for the heads up
  6. and you're not a real arsehole until you've chucked it to someone in the back seat yelling CATCH
  7. So the general consensus is that 5tens are good then? I don't just want something that grips well, they've gotta be comfortable as well as offering some protection to my toes (I've managed to break/fracture 9 of them during my illustrious sports career )
  8. So you should probably delete all the porn apps and erase the search history then... Here's a nifty idea, buy her a spa treatment/relax day? What girl doesn't love to be pampered... Yes, I love to use ellipses...
  9. I just looked and the hightops that were on there a couple a weeks a go aren't on anymore The freeriders pro look nice in white - might get those for christmas...to myself, from myself
  10. Well, I'm a noob to trials so can't really offer too much insight but I'm 186cm and looking at getting a 90x35 - but that might be because I ride a 24" so it would suit the bike better. Maybe some beautiful person could offer a better explanation
  11. I was actually going to ask if anyone bought any FiveTens, I would probably get the high top pair... So if anyone has any FiveTens; are they any good?
  12. Look at tartybikes.co.uk - they ship worldwide and I've been told it's pretty reasonable price wise too. I'm from the UK and they delivered next day which I thought was awesome. I'm sure there's others but unfortunately I don't know of them!
  13. I can say I have this problem, having only just started trials riding myself. I feel that mine is more attributed to a lack of strength and balance though, I'm getting better at getting the front wheel up to a decent height but it's keeping it there that's the problem for me. Like everyone says, it just practice. From what I can tell most trials riders make it look incredibly easy when in fact, it isn't at all! There's also a lot of coordination and timing involved and I reckon that can only be improved with practice. So yeah, us n00bs just gotta keep at it really
  14. Yes lads! I think everyone agrees there should be more fancy dress themed riding. Particularly loved the 'to infinity, and beyond!' part myself
  15. Well I've only just got my first bike so I'm out on it everyday - It does get a little hard to motivate myself but the thought of improving and generally just being outdoors does it for me
  16. Haha, so true! The only 'eggs' I seem to break at the moment are my shins
  17. I've literally just put mine on but the light's starting to fade now so can't get out to test them on (excuses excuses but I also gotta sort my pc out haha) So yeah, I'll ride tomorrow and let you know how they are
  18. That poor, poor bike! Will upload a photo of mine later with my flashy new bars and grips
  19. Is it possible to fit brakes over grips that are already on bars? IF so, how the hell do you do it ?!

Twist gently, and roll it up. Basically wiggle them off. Wet them if it's needed. Shouldn't be hard if they're new

  20. Oh no, a severely poor attempt at an insult... I am distraught The real joke here is another 22 year old who thinks it's acceptable to criticize anothers life choices
  21. I have no idea what that is, other than a failed attempt at a joke maybe?
  22. That doesn't even work, the drive won't recognise anything when it's in. It's a laptop so yeah it's inside. Drivers are fine and up to date
