    Music

Ok, so in my spare time I'm either listening to music or promoting new bands/artists on twitter - so figured I'd plug a few of them here now too, for your enjoyment of course! First up: In The Pacific - are an indie group from Bristol with a unique sound, somewhat combining The Kooks, Arctic Monkeys and The Wombats but at the same time having a still pretty underground feel. My personal favourite is 'Fake Faces'. Their soundcloud: http://soundcloud.com/inthepacific Secondly: Ady Suleiman - is an artist from Liverpool/Nottingham, admittedly I don't know too much about this guy other than one of my mates knows him. His voice is surreal, and offers a blend of reggae, soul, pop and acoustic music to just an eargasmic level, I'm pretty convinced in a few years, if not sooner, he will make it. My personal favourite is 'Why You Running Away'. His soundcloud: http://soundcloud.com/adysuleiman So yeah, have a listen to them. Also, if you know any good up and coming bands/artists then I'm always on the lookout for new talent and you should definitely post them here! I always think repping the underground, homemade guys is the way forward. F**k Simon Cowell and his corporate machine aka Syco. Cheers guys, -Showurcolours

So that's you on the mod? That bit was particularly awesome Loved the whole video; entertaining, good riding, good spots and some pretty funny/ohmeegawwd bails. Personally the camera quality didn't bother me at all, mainly because the content was awesome The only niggle; learn to skid without one foot nearing the floor
  4. Press F5 then, so much quicker for your hands!
  5. Spoken like a true gentleman! Have to say, Rob's video was my favourite - probably because of his ultra clean 360's and his tie dye tee's haha
  6. I'm surprised this didn't end up in 'evidence' - a.k.a the police commissioners son's bedroom
  7. Loving my zoot but you guys make trials look soo easy!

Haha, that's better than making it look crap :D

  8. Now I don't want to seem offensive - and I hope your mate gets better soon - but it's moments like these when slow mo really comes in handy
  9. This thread has just turned into a panorama competition... AND I DON'T WANT TO LOSE! Annoyingly enough though, this was the only one I've taken and it was at a street party at my uni
  10. You guys should look at Airdroid, it's like an essential part of my kit (I have a HTC Sensation XE) Basically, switch airdroid on your phone on, open up web.airdroid.com and bang! Your PC is now your phone and you can do whatever you like from it. App Lock is also good, if you don't want people messing around with your phone. Another good one is Google Sky Maps, basically lets you see all the constellations and that Oh and if you want a decent music device, I'd highly recommend Spotify Premium - Basically unlimited music at the touch of your fingers and it's all in HD Remember kids; don't buy from Apple!
  11. Oh My Gawwd! That was just insane, on soo many levels. Soo happy you posted that
  12. Haha, agreed! When I get a bit better and more confident on mine then I definitely will
  13. 'Hey listen, I know how to ride a bike man' - that made me chuckle Nice though out of interest, what bike is that?
  14. It's bloody raining again :'(

  15. Ah, the one that I got actually had no bids on (why it ended early) - Like I said earlier I'm new to trials so don't take it as certain, but I'm 22 and find the front end of the zoot pretty hard to lift (it's heavy and poor technique as well probaby) so I'd recommend a mod bike (20" instead of 24" - Zoot and Inspired Fourplay are 24") just because they are lighter and cheaper, and he'd be able to grow into it and progress faster. That would be my opinion, like I said, PM some of the other well known guys and I'm sure they will help you out
  16. If it was for a black and orange zoot that closed prematurely on weds/thurs night, I was the buyer...sorry to say! I have seen quite a few Zoots on ebay recently (think because of the cold weather and the fact christmas is approaching) so I reckon there might be a few more in the coming weeks. I'm relatively new to trials so don't take this for certain but I'm thinking that a Zoot for an 11 year old would be slightly unsuitable because of the size and weight, you may want to ask someone with more experience on this forum - sure they'd give you a proper answer!
  17. Video, or something else? hahahaha Yeah TT High Risers are £50 from Tartybikes (black or white, and weight in at just under half of Zoot bars) - I know this because I will be getting them haha...just the hard choice of black or white
  18. Awesome riding, awesome music and awesome scenery/locations Well done dude
  19. Ah ok, well due to my limited experience on trials bikes; I can't really compare them to anything. I just know that I will definitely benefit from a lighter pair! Only just seen the video you posted, some decent riding and I'm loving the green rims. Oh to be able to do all that!
  20. Really? What is the geo of the bars btw? (if you know that is haha) but yeah TT High Risers are first on my agenda, I was going to change stem next (again if you know the geo, that would be awesome) and the forks last. I'll order the bars on thursday then the rest of it will have to wait a while
  21. Ah nice, some decent riding there mate, Well this is my first time on a trials bike and I'm finding it pretty hard to get the front wheel up and just balance - probably need to increase my strength as well. Suppose it's all just practice though. I definitely won't be, standard Zoot bars are like ~600g, I don't mind the geo of them too much but some lighter and steeper ones will be a treat
  22. Ahhhhh the concrete playground... looks awesome and really nice riding too, especially liked the first bit on the corner of that bush
  23. Ahh right ok, what little upgrades have you made to your Zoot btw? Very detailed, had to think about what was being said but I got you now
