  1. Thanks guys, but I might go for blank as the others are to expensive(well the 3 or 4 I looked at are).
  2. I emailed chain reaction yesterday and today they said that they changed the answer to question, but have completely ignored the fact that I only bought the headset because they said it would fit (I sent them email just there asking for a refund). In the same email, they recommended some headsets that were 34mm diameter, which they said was standard, but most of them seemed to be MTB headsets, but I don't know I haven't checked out yet, the blank 1 1/8 wasn't mentioned. Now, because I no longer trust the CRC staff I'm asking here, would these fit? One more thing is I measured the headtube with a digital vernier it was 41.2. These are all the headsets they recommended: Octane One Warp 1 Sealed Headset 2013 FSA Pig DH Pro Headset FSA Orbit UF Ball - Cartridge Headset NC-17 Imperator Pro Headset 2014 Cane Creek 40-Series EC34 Conventional Headset FSA Orbit MX Headset Hope Conventional Headset
  3. So would the blank 1 1/8 fit? it seems to be the only non intergrated one.
  4. I bought an intergrated headset(stolen insider II) from chain reaction a few weeks ago and before I ordered it I asked a question on the site asking if it would fit, they said yes. But I tried putting it in but the bearing are to big(41.8 mm).
  5. Does anyone know a sealed headset that would fit the ruption phase 2012?
  6. I didn't need to change cranks, all yeah need is 18 freewheel, a freewheel tool(or hammer and nail whichever you prefer), 12 sprocket ands that's it.
  7. You should be happy, I have no friends on Facebook
  8. I did it to my onza bird I think it was worth it
  9. Freecoasters are a special hub which allows the bike to go backwards without having to pedal backwards and the freewheel engaging, danny pedals backwards he's doing backwards wheelies because if he didn't the freewheel engages and he'd fall on his arse. So if where to push a bike backwards the cranks will move but if you stop them moving the bike can't move back. On a freecoaster hub you if tried the same the cranks would stay.
  10. I'm poor and haven't money for a grinder or pads
  11. Don't go for a onza rip anyway. If you need a new rear tyre(tire?) you need a new bike. (I couldn't find a 20 rear trials tyre that could be delivered to Ireland) and if you get a 19 wheel and tyre it dosent fit in the frame. Lucky I went for the onza bird instead. But I had some bad experiences with it in wet weather(V-brakes with a smooth rim) so your better of getting a second hand with a good set of brakes.
