Where's all the money coming from to finance all this? Seems like there's a lot of theory going on and not a lot of actual production or sales? I'm all for testing new things out but I can't see anything you're suggesting becoming a big thing.

I very much doubt it. You're dealing with different spacing between each spoke hole on the rim. Sounds like a nightmare to me. What size wheel is it as well? If its a 20"rim you're probably more likely to get away with it than a 26" rim.

This is my ride. 2016 Canyon Strive AL 7.0 Race Medium. I love this bike to bits. I thought the shape shifter function was a bit of a gimmick when I heard about these bikes but I really like it in practice! Modifications are: I've changed the dropper for a 170mm drop reverb, 28 steel chainring, Wheels are Hope pro 4 on DT Swiss EX511 and the tyres are Continental Trail King 2.4 (only just fits on the back) Pedals are Nukeproof Electron's and I've put some volume spacers in the forks and rear shock. The bike can handle anything I can throw at it and its got me out of trouble a number of times when the feature I was riding down exceeded my skill level. I went to this from a 26" 16" frame Orange Five which I loved at the time. This bike just feels so much better to me though and gives me so much confidence.

Really enjoyed that trip down memory lane! I loved the two pallets against the upturned skip session some class moves going on there! My heart sank a bit when the riders were riding past saying their name and Andy Hill came along made me a bit sad that one.

I totally agree with what you say Flip that was hard work to watch. I was bored the whole way through... /sarcasm (do people still do that / thing?) Seriously though cheer up mate its not all doom and gloom. You're hands down the best brakeless rider on the planet. Maybe if you lighten up a bit and ride for fun rather than to impress people/mainly yourself then it would show in the videos. You've got an amazing talent and I enjoy your videos (maybe not so much the depressing music at the start). Just in case it wasn't clear that was really impressive.

As long as you are happy with the bike that's all that matters! I just think its nice to have a pair of brakes with the same levers and calipers. As long as they work for you though that's fine. The grips are down to what you feel comfortable with. In my opinion they aren't the nicest looking grips but as long as they feel right to you that's all that matters. The rear rim is more of a competition style trials bike rim with the drilled holes and ground braking surface. I think that bike would suit a non drilled rear rim. For the rear tyre again I'm going off the looks. I think something a bit less aggressive and faster rolling would suit a street looking bike.

It's a lovely looking bike and reminds of the golden age of trials. I have to say though I'm not a fan of the shimano hubs, lack of bash ring, mismatched brakes, grips, rear rim and tyre. All just my opinion though! Overall for me its a beauty of a bike.

I went for the Pixel 2 XL. I really like it. It didn't take long to get used to and I do miss certain things from my iphone but I found the iPhone 8 to be laggy, slow and basically just a 6 with a glass back. I've been following a few youtubers who review phones and the Xiaomi Poco F1 looks like it could be a giant killer. I'm not a fan boy of android or IOS I can see the pros and cons to both side's I think with android though if there's something you don't like about it there's usually a way to change it but you get what you're given with IOS. You get a lot more options when it comes to android phones which is a big one for me. My opinion is Samsung make the best hardware, Google make the best software and Apple have the best user interface. If you could combine all 3 then you'd have the ultimate phone!

I've been an iPhone bitch for too long. I think its time to switch to android. I've got my eye on the Google Pixel 2 XL. I'm currently using an iPhone 8 and I don't really like it. It just seems like a fancy iPhone 6. What are people experiences switching from apple to android? Carphone warehouse had the Pixel 2XL for £550 but its gone back up to £799! I won't be paying full price for one.

I can't help but notice that it looks like the holes on the inner wall are the same size as the outer wall? It also looks to me like the nipples have been on the outer wall? Am I seeing things that aren't there? If you had a wheel built up with the spoke nipples resting on the outer wall I'd expect to see cracks like that.

Sound's like there's air in there to me. Did you have the bike upside down after you bled it?

I'm struggling to see the crack in that frame! How the hell did you spot it? Have you got xray vision?

John The Mong has got the same bike. His shock has been pissing oil since he got it. Still seems to be working alright though. I don't think his has the knocking noise either. Give him a shout on facebook or something and you can share notes.

I'd rather not ride at all than not have a dropper post.

I'm almost certain I saw a similar story about this same van but with charity bikes in it that got stolen. I'm very sceptical of the story though. It just doesn't make sense.
