  1. Ha ha ha ha ha well spotted, that made me chuckle.
  2. You could use a turd with tar. People need to realise that tar is for tards. Black pads with tar will be as good as any other pad with tar out there. I do agree that is a pretty useless video unless you want to stick your pads together for fun.
  3. The bmx axle isn't designed with a disc in mind so when you put a disc hub shell on its too close to the disc mounts to get a caliper in.
  4. It can be done but the king hub spacing is closer to the chain stay so depending on your frame you might have to make an adaptor to get the caliper to fit between the mounts and the frame. This might help too. http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....showtopic=75365
  5. This is a simple one i've had this problem myself. All you need to do is put a bit of lube on the rubber o-rings and they should pop on no problem.
  6. Maguras use mineral oil and hopes use dot fluid. I'm not sure on the piston sizes but they will probably be pretty similar. I doubt you could make the brake any more powerful by swapping them round. I personally wouldn't bother. I've personally found magura Louise brakes to be pretty good anyway.

    Forks

Yep all echo forks come with a star nut.
  8. Well that's where you're wrong. You were told to buy Rage against the machine so it would beat Joe. You did what "they" told you. That's what's made me laugh about this a bit. I'm Glad RATM won and I listened to the count down and I was quite excited. It shows the power of the internet though.
  9. It's a tampon. Next time get involved with the tubing and make sure they don't f**k it up again.

    D30 Gel

Ali C did a demo for the D3O people that's how they got some.
  11. That fits the bill for Kuelmuel don't you think?
  12. Matt you're just jealous like me.

I think we've finally seen a bigger cut than Marvin Eastmans. Edit: Well maybe not...
  14. I'm going to guess you're doing something wrong.
  15. It must not be bled properly when you do it then.
  16. I didn't realise you were doing it in the bath. Are there any signs of the brake leaking? The water must be going somewhere.
  17. For a start what you are doing is not bleeding your brake. You need a syringe and bleed hoses to bleed your brake. http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/wiki/Bleeding_Magura_brakes Here's a guide have a read of that.
  18. DOT fluid is only for hope brakes. Magura discs use mineral oil. I bled the disc on my mod with water years ago and it was fine. At one point I even used a HS 33 lever and it still worked fine the lever just felt stiff. I can't remember exactly how I did it but I'm pretty sure I used a syringe and bled from the caliper up to the lever. Its not the best idea to use water with a disc brake but it does work. I didn't notice the water getting hot, expanding or boiling when I did it so I think you'll be alright for trials. Don't forget that you'll have no warranty if you do it though.
  19. Well its not really clear because you said you used them to Ali on the phone. The fact is its already been dealt with and there is to be no warranty. To me personally it looks like you are not being honest with what's happened. Its got nothing to do with me and people here seem to think I'm an argumentative person so I'm going to leave it there and stay out of it. Good luck anyway mate.
  20. I came to that conclusion from what I've read in this thread. No one in this thread mentioned they broke a ti bb so I assumed yours was the only one. You bought the bb Tarty who bought it from Resset. Tarty boys seem to think it broke because you used a spacer (Which is fair what with you saying it on the phone and there being spacers in the box with the bb) Resset have the final say in weather or not your bb gets warranted and they said no.
  21. The truth is the bb broke where it would if a spacer had been used, Ali seems to think you said you used a spacer and finally there were spacers in the box with the bb. Resset said no warranty and they have the final say. Its not like Tartybikes didn't want you to get a replacement they are just the middle men in all of this. I'm not saying you did use a spacer on your cranks but looking at it as a third party it seems to suggest you did. There doesn't seem to be anyone else that has broken their Ti bb here either. I have one myself and although I don't ride very often I have full confidence in it.

I'm glad he won to be honest. Now we get to see his arse getting kicked at least 3 times.
  23. Adam is pretty clued up about what sells but like I said before its more of a case of the demand out weighing the supply.
  24. Bare in mind manufactures have to actually make this stuff. Tarty try to order as much stuff as they can at a time but there's only so much that gets made by the actually manufacturer. Trials isn't a very big sport so not a lot of stuff gets made at a time. Also a lot of the stuff comes from the other side of the world so that takes time too. I'm pretty sure I saw a box full of TNN LGM pads the other day in Tarty though. Its been really busy so the site updates have been a bit slow. I'm also quite sure they have the tnn boosters and clamps in stock too.
