Flipps got some 24'' competition right there. Wow...
-
That's what I thought when I went from my 24'' Echo to a 26'' GU. That being said, I'm back to 24'' now.
-
Can you show me how? You seem to be a professional.

Who cares. Was tun to watch and just like Flipp's video, it makes me wanna put down some cash for a 20.1

Yes. Everything else is marketing, I'd say. SLX vs. XT -> MT4 vs. MT6 Zee vs. Saint -> MT5 vs. MT7 They have the same caliper but the lever offers more adjustability, even though I've read rumors, that the MT7 lever has a different ratio. In any case, the MT5 with Trialtech pads has more power than any rider ever needs. Thanks to @ben_travisWe also have seen that the MT6 offers more than enough power, which kinda makes the MT4 a very good budget option. As I said, I run it on the front (MT6 caliper, MT5 lever) and although I don't ride like most of you guys, I'd still say that this is a very powerful brake. Enough power to have me flying over the bars anyways.
-
Or you could buy two MT5s for the price of one MT7.
-
I actually don't care about the tool-less reach adjustment of the MT7/6 lever so I got an MT5 for 69€. For the front I got an MT6 caliper and paired it to my MT5 lever. How's the pad knock on the MT6? On the front it isn't noticeable. I don't have any issues with brake rub on my MT5 but then again, I've been riding it for only a month or so.

Trying to catch up on the basics.

@Ali C Was right again. The MT6 on the front offers a lot more modulation than the MT5/7. I swapped my MT5 with Trialtech pads for the MT6 with standard pads and it's much better. I now feel that I can learn stoppies. The 4pot brake was just too powerful. The hold isn't as good though. That's why I ordered some Trickstuff pads. I'm pretty sure that with these the MT6 will be awesome.

Works though. I did this with a Trialtech Fork and an Echo Hub. I'd rather file down the axle than the fork though.
-
There should be more videos of mediocre riders. I have some on my computer.
-
Mine couldn't. His riding makes me wanna get an Alias (better publicity isn't possible) and ride brakeless. Since I know that I'd hurt myself a lot, I won't do it though.

I'm really starting to like pedal gaps. I wanted to to this gap with a pure trials bike for so long and haven't been able to yet. Today I tried it for the first time with the inspired and voilà. Bunny hops with a litte tap are cool too.
-
Everyday something new on this bike, even if it's just a small dot in the big picture. I always wondered how to drop sideways off a wall without using the brakes.

Best hs33 pads and 24 tyres for wet/muddy conditions

Began with a 24'' Marino street, went over to various 24'' pure trials, got a 26'' pure trial and now am back to a 24'' Inspired street trial. -
Not trying to be funny. What makes this hook "funnier" than the others? For me they are all the same. I actually though he was going to gap to front it.
-
Yeah. Seems reasonable. Thanks. @Kushagra Rastogi Too bad you didn't get the matching forks. I don't like the looks of the Echo Urbans.

They didn't work on Trialtech SL rims but then again, no pad did. -

Depending on the rim the ADM are better. -
Thanks. I thought it was called key. Could it be that you Brits call it differently? In any case its shown in the video.
-
Oh well... I found out that with a street trial things are a bit easier.
-
Trialshop.pl Tarty also have the frame.

Just an allen wrench. It's pretty easy. Have a look at the video. Starts at 3:13. Take off the hose and screw it back in on the other side, pushing the cable in while you are doing it. As I said, if you are very careful, you might get away with not having to bleed the brake afterwards. I'd bleed it though. It's a pretty simple thing to do. You just need the right tools. I'd also shorten the hoses. For this you need a new pin and an olive (everything is shown in the video).
-
Nice looking bike. As for switching the brake hoses. Just slowly unscrew it with an 8mm allen key, take it off and put it on the other side. You might even get away without bleeding the system. Where did you get this bike from? Seeing that the brake hoses are the other way round I guess you got it from Tarty. Why did you go for the Echo Rotors? Shimano SLX rotors are great and work better imo.
